The space

Cozy apartment in an old green area of the city, ten minutes from the central square.

One bedroom in a spacious 3-room apartment for rent!
The house is located in the old center of the city (the old part of Kaliningrad, which was preserved after the war), not far from the hotel "Moscow". It is close to the center. It is very quiet place, so you can sleep well at night. The area offers various modern cafes, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, cinemas. Public transportation such as the tram and bus stop is also just a minute away on foot.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom and a balcony. The apartment is well furnished and it offers various amenities such as Internet / Wi-Fi, laundry machine.
You can reach the Baltic Sea by bus or train (about 40 minutes) or by car (about 20 minutes). I can meet you at the airport.

I speak German, Russian, and some English.

We spent 2 nights at Lydmila's apartment and very much enjoyed our stay. The room was as described - spacious and quiet location in a very pleasant neighborhood. We were welcomed by her son who spoke very good English. The first evening Lydmila surprised us with a nice dinner and she even took us on a private sightseeing tour with her car. What a wonderful surprise! No 5* hotel can match such a nice, personal experience! We also very much enjoyed the talks the following day over tea and home-made cake, discussing everyday life in Kaliningrad. We mostly communicated in German with her. We could help ourselves with a nice breakfast that she has prepared before going to work. The apartment is located in a historical residential area with many trees and gardens. At the same it felt like a very central location, short walking distance to shopping center, nice restaurants and a excellent bus connection. We could not imagine a better location. No doubt: a highly recommended host!

Lyudmila was one of the best hosts we have had in our Airbnb experiences. Her modern home is beautifully designed and the guest room is large as is the shared bathroom. She prepared lovely full breakfasts for us, that included seasonal berries, a big treat in this region! She also went out of her way to pick us up at the airport the evening we arrived, and generously made dinner to eat together as it was late. She drove us around the city giving us a mini tour, so that we would see what to explore on our own the next day. During our stay we enjoyed our conversations about her city, our families, and other topics--possible because Lyudmila is fluent in English. We hope to meet her daughter some day, as she lives in California like our daughter!

I spend great time in Kaliningrad and important role was played by the hostess - Lyudmila is very friendly and willing to help. I was supposed to arrive in the morning by ship, but it was delayed and in the sea were no communications, so Lyudmila even begs off from work to meet me. The apartment is very well appointed, with elements of the author's design, the room is big and comfortable and nothing prevented a rest after long walks. Speaking of walks - the apartment is situated near the center so you can just walk there, but of course there is a transport. I had not much time in Kaliningrad and the last day I went back right before the left, Lyudmila invited me to dine with them and even drove by her car to the bus terminal. Many thanks!

Ludmila is a very nice person, very offen and friendly! The room is clean and big, and there is enough space for your stuff in the closet. The breakfast is tasty and healthy, we loved it very much. The location is great, so you need just 10-15 minutes walk to the Ploschad' Pobedy. Thenks a lot!

Lyudmila’s apartment was perfect! Great location, very close to all places of interest – museums, nice streets, central park, cafés and restaurants just 5 minutes walking. The room was big and clean, with comfortable bed. Lyudmila is friendly, kind person, who is ready to help you with everything, she showed really great places inside and around Kaliningrad that only insiders can know. As well as she cooked very tasty breakfast! I'd definitely recommended Lyudmila’s place, who is great host and could not have been more hospitable, attentive to the details and kind to make you feel like home! Thanks a lot for a wonderful time!
