  • Jennifer's flat was perfect. The location was fantastic. We could walk to everything we wanted to go to. Great restaurants and shopping one block away on Union St or a few more on Chestnut. We are big runners and getting up and running along Marina Green to the GG Bridge and across it was just awesome. I used to live in SF and this just brought back how great it is to live in SF. So much better than staying in a hotel. Jennifer's flat is beautiful, clean and well stocked. We just loved everything about it and can't wait to come back. The only thing we wished for was a parking place.

  • Loved feeling like a local! Jennifer's apartment was a perfect place to stay to feel that way. Plenty of room for 4 guests, super nice kitchen, really close to amazing restaurants, wine bars, shopping - and the view was delightful to get to see!

Grateful that Jennifer & Pavla let 2 of my guests leave their bags inside the door before check in due to our arrival/timing into the city. As someone mentioned before - a hotel-like service that was appreciated! We parked our car in the parking garage on Union Street and didn't have any problems. It's a perfect place if you don't have a car, however, a parking spot would have made our stay even more perfect.

  • A very pretty apartment and a rooftop view of the Golden Gate Bridge were a great combination for our stay in Pacific Heights! The apartment was very nicely decorated, updated and spacious, which was perfect for our group. We've stayed at some nice hotels (Fairmont, Westin St. Francis), but all of us preferred this apartment because it was so nice and there was no sacrifice in space or comforts. The kitchen is gorgeous, and it was a treat to sit at the big dining room table and look out the windows to the SF neighborhood while we ate. The windows let in a lot of light, especially the big bay window in the living room.
We easily walked a block or so away to a trendy little market for some quick meals or there are lots of alternatives in the neighborhood. Although we ate elsewhere in the city, the dining options looked very good close by. The area is upscale, pretty and looks trendy so the neighborhood is quite nice.
We spoke to Pavla, as the host, who was extremely helpful. She provided a big packet of info for our stay with details about the apartment, recommended restaurants, sights to see, etc. I was all very organized and thorough. Pavla checked in to make sure that everything was ok, and overall, we had the feeling that if anything was needed, she'd be readily available.
The info on the apartment has parking garage info if it is needed. We did find parking on the street every night, although it does take a little work. It's a city, so you have to expect it. Most of the parking was found within 2 blocks (usually within 1 block), typically on streets that are hillier since the flat street that the apartment is on is probably gone in a flash.
We'd recommend this apartment to anyone going to SF. It was a pleasure to stay there and a great experience. We're new to Airbnb and this was our second stay, and so far, we can't say enough good things about going this option vs traditional hotel.
Thanks to Pavla and we hope others have a similar positive experience!

  • We were very pleased with the unit. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked.
Pavla was very nice and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again......can't beat the location, but as mentioned, parking can be rough.

  • We love this place, it is wonderful. Gorgeous view from the top floor at the Golden Gate. The neighborhood is exceptional, nice place to walk around. We were happy with the way Ms. Pavla communicated with us, answering our requests. The apartment is excellent. Thanks a lot.

  • Jennifer's apartment was everything as described in the advert - we had a great stay, two couples, plenty of room etc. organic supermarket just down the road, cooked twice for dinner with all facilities provided in the kitchen.
Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to our friends.

  • Great place to stay. The apartment was everything we had hoped - great location for walking to shops, restaurants and Presidio and waterfront. Beautiful light through lots of gorgeous, old windows, clean, very comfortable (great beds/linens/blankets), as well as a well-stocked kitchen full of pots, pans, utensils.

Jennifer was very generous with us and let us leave our bags inside the door before check-in time since we arrived in SF in the morning - a hotel-like service that we were very grateful for!

  • Nos gustó mucho la casa, estancias y camas amplias, con buenos detalles en cuanto a enseres. Ubicación perfecta. Tuvimos un problema con la wifi y la disponibilidad de Pavla fue exquisita.

  • Of the many places I've stayed in San Francisco, this is by far the best. My questions were immediately answered, the location is excellent and the unit itself is comfortable and stylish. The kitchen is particularly convenient and well-stocked with utensils, so that meals were a delight to prepare. Serving in the dining room and having a view of the street and sky made dining a rather cosmopolitan experience.

The location lends itself to easy exploration of Union Street shops and cafes; the bus line makes getting anywhere else in the city easy. I can recommend this with enthusiasm--the only drawback it getting one's luggage up the stairs from the front door to the rooms above. Pack light!
