Pedro and Family
A very warm welcome from Pedro and his grandfather! Pedro explained to us the best beach spots to visit for our short trip to Lagos, some good food and drink recommendations too. Very good location if you don't have a car, walking distance to town and beaches
Arrived in the Evening at Lagos, Pedro met us at an agreed location and took us to the property. What a Great Place and Location, I have been staying in the area for 20 years and this was the best location! so close to everything. Totally recommend @ Pedro tahnks for the Wine
Pedro met us at the apartment and greeted us with a bottle of wine. Before showing us around, he got in the car with us to help us find parking. He was a very good host, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.
In the living room there are two maps of the area with personalized recommendations from Pedro for restaurants, cafes, walks and good views in the area. The maps were great! Very helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.
This sweet, newly renovated home was perfect for the four adults in our family. We used Lagos as a base to explore the western Algarve. We did our own cooking, but were happy to find a small restaurant serving caldo verde on our last day. Even though Pedro and Joana were out of town, and the grandmother was sick, they kept in touch by phone and answered our questions. The nearby laundromat was easy to find and use. The weather was cold-- we wouldn't have minded a third heater for downstairs so that we could have been warm in all three spaces (two upstairs bedrooms and the living room/kitchen downstairs), but we managed. It's a quiet neighborhood. Plan to park a ways away since there's not room on the extremely narrow street--there are plenty of spaces a short walk away. Just get directions to go to park first instead of trying to navigate on their actual street. We were grateful to the grandfather who helped guide us to the parking lot.
The house is on two levels- a small dining area and kitchen and toilet (without a bath) on the ground level and two bedrooms and one bathroom on the first level.
The neighbourhood was fantastic. Surrounded by beautiful homes- this one was also really pretty. It is also very close to all the activity- but was quiet when we went because it was winter time.
Pedro welcomed us with a bottle of wine and was very helpful. Sometimes it was difficult to reach him- during arrival and departure but that didn't put a dent in our stay there.
The icing on the cake was the portable wifi device that he offered us. This really really helped and added to our stay there. Would definitely come back to stay here! Thanks Pedro.
A lovely little apartment right in the old town with easy access to the waterfront, restaurants and a yoga studio!
We stayed in November, so many shops were closed for the season and the nights were quite chilly. Thankfully there was s space heater in the bedroom and extra blankets.
The host's grandmother was a sweetheart. She did not speak English, but it was not a problem communicating.
The apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. Recommended!
Pedro's place in Lagos is a great place to stay! Everything is within walking distance. I was very pleased with the fully furnished townhouse! I had everything I could ever need. Pedro's kind grandmother welcomed us and helped us settle in. She also checked up on us to make sure we had everything we need. It was a pleasure staying at Pedro's place and meeting his very sweet grandmother. I highly recommend!
We had a good time in Lagos, the apartment is nice and clean. You can walk everywhere from there, the beaches aren't far away and the old town of lagos is next door. Everything was really fine.
We had a great stay at Pedro's apartment, we were greeted by his Mum who told our Portuguese speaking friend that she was celebrating her 60th wedding anniversary. She was gorgeous - unfortunately we couldn't communicate with her in English. So polish up your Portuguese.
The apartment is really centrally located, nearby shops which you should take advantage of given the apartment is fully stocked. The area is near bars and plenty of nightlife, go forth and explore.
Thanks Pedro and family!
The house was just as we expected and had everything we needed for our stay. Also it is nicely located, within walking distance to the center of town and beach. Pedro's grandmother met us when we arrived and explained everything we needed to know. We really enjoyed our stay.
