Friends always tell me how cosy my home is... and yes, I agree. I love my place! It's a beautiful spacious and light apartment (100 m2) in the historical city center of Antwerp, in a small cobbled street, away from the busier roads. When I wake up with the sound of the church bells, sip from a tea on my sunny terrace (10m2) or enjoy the sun when coming in true the big windows... I feel very lucky living in such a peaceful apartment. Quiet but only a few steps away from the bustling city centre.
The Central Station is only a 12 min walk away, in 10 min you are at the main square, in front of the Cathedral or at the main shopping street 'de Meir'.
Bus and tram or just a block away, as well as a bicycle station of the Velo, for rent for a day or a week.
This flat offers you one cosy bedroom with a comfortable double bed (pull-out sofa), duvet cover and good pillows. Everything for you to enjoy a good rest. You are free to use the fully equiped kitchen or enjoy the many restaurants/coffee bars nearby.
Wifi, cable TV, a wide collection of English/Spanish/Dutch books and art books available. You can make use of the city maps and restaurant guide and of course there are plenty of useful tips I can provide you with! It's my pleasure to make you feel at home!
It is right in the historic city centre, 5' walk from the Cathedral. Also near the main shopping axe of Antwerp. Great restaurants and bars nearby!
No smoking, no pets, no parties and no shoes in the house.
Casa meravigliosa, accogliente, pulitissima, in posizione centralissima. Host stupenda, gentile e disponibile.
Potrei elogiare il tutto all'infinito..
Carolines house as very convienently located in the center.
The appartment was spacious, well decorated and clean.
She was nice enough to lend me her bike and give me some good tips about the city.
I would definately recommend her to my friends.
We had a great time in Carolina's apartment. It's beautyfully located in the heart of the historical centre, in a quiet street. The apartment is clean, spacious and cosy. Since Carolina was abroad we had the whole house to our self. We didn't meet Carolina but she made us feel very welcome and left a list of nice restaurants and other interesting places to visit in Antwerp. Highly recommended!
Fully enjoyed the beautiful place of Caroline! wonderful locations (only 5 mins from the nice centre) and very welcoming atmosphere. We felt like coming home, every day of our stay. Thanks Carolina!
Perfecte locatie in hartje Antwerpen. Caroline is een erg vriendelijke en nette verhuurder. Ze is erg behulpzaam zonder opdringerig te zijn.
Ons verblijf in haar mooie appartement was een genot en ik zou het aan een ieder aanraden om hier te verblijven.
The location of Caroline's apartment is a short walk to city centre. Located close to the university upper side of town, there are many cute cafes and there are tram stops just around the corner. Caroline was friendly and welcoming. She gave me many tips for me to explore Antwerp. Her place is just as described. There are a couple of steps before you reach to the lift, so don't be alarmed. After a full day of walking (or biking) around, it is lovely to sit in the living room, and enjoy the quiet surroundings. It is a home away from home.
I have lived in Antwerp city center since my time at University 8 years ago. In the meantime I have traveled a lot and lived in many places (Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Madrid, Geneva, Hamburg and Vietnam), but always came back to Antwerp. This is my base, where my friends and family live, and where I feel really at home!
I work for an international NGO, active in the field of sustainable development... a job that makes me travel around the world. I love to explore new places... and will never go anywhere without a good book and my camera.
One of the reasons I wanted to become a host is because I love traveling. And what I love even more is to completely submerge in a foreign city, live there for a while and get the feeling of coming home in that place that then no longer is 'foreign'. Airbnb gives me the opportunity to share a bit of my home, give people all the tips needed to have an extraordinary stay!
