Simply wonderful… and we (family of four adults) are referring primarily of Anne and then her cosy Apartment just at arm’s reach of the main Market Square, across the historic bridge over river Inn.
Most often, as we have found during our travels that personalities matter more than accommodation and conveniences in making any holiday memorable. We will remember Anne and her quiet, reassuring and sincere demeanour more than the comfortable rooms of her Apartment, its beds, pillows, kitchen, utensils and so on.
From the time we recognised her waiting for us at the Innsbruck rail cum bus station, even though our bus from Mittenwald Germany was late, and thereafter till she again dropped us and our suitcases for the next leg of our journey, she was a picture of assurance and helpfulness. I believe she even dropped a cycle tour with her son just to ensure that she was available (in her Apartment just below us), in case we needed her help. Our Innsbruck experience of 6 nights turned out to be a highlight of our European holiday of 21 nights!
Thank you Anne. We will remember you and your Apartment.
It was an wonderful stay in Anne's apartment. She was very good with communication since the beginning and was very helpful. She went out of the way to help us with informqtions and advices, she provided a scooter for my son, even needle and thread for me which I required suddenly. Her place is very conveniently located in the centre and was very clean and well equipped. I would highly recommend her place.
Anne was very helpful in helping us settle in and the apartment was perfect for our stay in Innsbruck. We loved the town and the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended!
Anne's apt is at a great location and also very well kept. She was flexible with the check-in which was great! Everything went well and we had a good time at his apt. Would recommend it to all!
Anne and her apartment made my stay in Innsbruck such a wonderful experience! I had never used AirBnB before and I was a bit nervous about meeting someone in a foreign country by myself, but Anne was so friendly and helpful that I can't wait to go back to Innsbruck!
Anne picked me up from the train station (twice, actually ... because I got confused) and gave me a little tour of Innsbruck on the way back to the apartment. The apartment is in a great location -- quiet, beautiful view of the mountains, and easily accessible. Having a kitchen was so nice -- it allowed me to save a bunch of money by cooking instead of eating out. Also, being so close to the old town and the river was wonderful. If I just felt like going back to the apartment for lunch or a quick break, it was only a 10 minute walk.
If you're looking for a great place to stay in Innsbruck with a lovely host, this is the place for you!! I can't recommend it enough.
Thank you for staying in your apartment. The place is very quiet and well located. I did many things by foot. You are very friendly. Thank you.
About the Host, Anne
Innsbruck and the mountains I love in spring, in summer, in autumn and in winter.
Sometimes I leave, for Venice, Hamburg, Paris, Corsica or Morocco. I like to live at the moment and try to follow the advice: Wherever you go, go with all your heart.
I am an experienced "Innsbruckerin", so I know all districts well - and I really enjoy living in "Mariahilf", next to the center with all urban offers and next to the forest with its tranquillity and the vast recreation area of Innsbrucks Nordkette. As a trained city guide I`m happy to give you tips and ideas. As a host I want you to make yourself at home.
