Do yourself a favor and stay at this location. The price for the accommodations cannot be matched. It's a roomy yet cozy house and it's walking distance form a great cafe and a short trip from central Tahoe City. Myself and my guests were all impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, as well as Henry's clear and detailed communication. This will be a go to for me the next time I'm staying at beautiful Lake Tahoe!

Henry's home was amazing! Our group of 6 was extremely comfortable for our weekend in the mountains. The vaulted ceilings in the living room are gorgeous, especially in the morning when the sun is shining in. We enjoyed tanning on the deck, walking to the markets close by in the morning and into town for dinner in the evening. The house was extremely clean and there were plenty of towels. Would definitely recommend!

Nice house in a great location. The house is quite dated but everything works well. The bedroom in the basement was very cold and we could not use it.

Response from Henry:
I want to thank Morgan for his good comments. Nice artwork does not make the house "dated". There are controls to get the heat to the downstairs room.

We really enjoyed staying at Henry's place! We were comfortable and would stay here again anytime. The bottom floor gets a little colder than the rest of the place at night, but Henry had lots of extra blankets available for anyone who wanted them.

I have lived in Northern California for 35 years and my permanent residence is San Francisco. I grew up in Long Island NY and came west for college and went to Stanford then got an MBA at Wharton and now have my own company. My house on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe is where my heart is. I fell for this house as soon as I came upon it and bought it. For 21 years it has given me, my family and friends immeaserable pleasure and fun.
