  • The cabin is in the perfect location, just a short 10 min. walk from Tahoe City and just down the way from Sunnyside. It's quaint and well-appointed. We were 2 couples and a baby and it fit us perfectly. Henry was very responsive and helpful with booking and questions.

We would definitely stay here again.

  • great little A frame!

    Response from Henry:

I wanted to thank Alex for this review but the house is much more than a "little A Frame". As the photos show it has a lot of space with tall ceilings. In fact given the 12 by 12 roof it is by definition not an "A Frame" but a normal house. Additionally it is positioned on a slight upslope with a very large elevated deck.

  • We stayed here for a week in July and had a great time. The location was perfect for day trips all around the lake and we rode our bikes to Sunnyside most days for beach time. Henry was great to work with and very responsive. Our only complaints would be that the upstairs shower is extremely small and dark. We ended up using the main floor bathroom. Also, if you're planning to go with a large group and spend time in the cabin, the living room really only comfortably seats 3 to 4 people. It was just two of us for most of the week so we were ok with that.

    Response from Henry:

Maggie left the house in fine shape. The upstairs shower is a vertical stall and a standard size, in my 21 years of owning the house I have never heard of it being dark accept for Maggie. The living room is integrated with the dining room and together seats at least 10. Again Maggie is the first in 21 years who has commented on its limited seating. Also the wrap around deck is 1000 square feet, is easily accessible from the interior and is used a great deal and significantly enlarges the house's living space.
