This is a huge apartment located in Tivoli, near Rome. Within the town, you will find the famous Villa Adriana, Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana (The first two of them are UNESCO sites).
The apartment has been recently renovated and it is in perfect conditions!
You will find yourselves in a very pleasant home, with a big and romantic dining room with a balcony, a big kitchen with another balcony, two bathrooms (each of them with shower and one of them with a washing machine), two bedrooms (one of them with a balcony).
Every morning, you will have the chance to taste our famous homemade pies and cookies.
Furthermore, you will spend 1/3 of the amount for every smaller apartments in Rome, being so close to the Eternal City, that you'll be able to reach by train or by bus. And you'llhave the chance to visit the town of Tivoli (the centre of the town is 10 minutes far by foot), which has ha beautiful medieval part.
Finally, the air conditioning will grant you a great sleep in any season!!!

The apartment is beautiful and modern. It's way up on the mountain with a gorgeous view of the surrounding countryside. Azzurra speaks very good English, but was away when we checked in, so her lovely parents helped us out. They do not speak English, but are kind and patient with a tourist's bumbling Italian. The apartment looks and feels like an IKEA showroom, but it's all new, clean, modern, colorful, and comfortable. If you've got good legs, you can easily walk into the center of town and around the cites.
There were only two problems, but they were major:
1. She listed her apartment as a 4-bedroom, when in fact it only has 2. I have come to expect this kind of "exaggeration" in Italian rentals, but inventing another two bedrooms is a stretch. It is a lovely place, but the lie really inconvenienced our party, and we had to deal with some uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.
2. She advertised free on-site parking, which we seriously needed because we rented a 9-seater van for an Italian road-trip. However, again, this is an exaggeration. We arrived to greet her lovely father, and asked where the "free, on-site parking" was located, and he pointed to the street and said "Maybe you can find something out here. Good luck." Finally, we did get lucky, finding street parking not far away, but this was another surprise and major inconvenience.
I contacted Azzurra in advance of our stay to confirm both of these critical details - parking and bedrooms. It's a lovely place in an interesting Italian town, but ultimately, is falsely advertised.
This is a beautiful apartment not far from the center of Tivoli. I would highly recommend it and stay there again..
Azzurra was a great host. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and clean. Vistors will find themselves just a short walk to the center of Tivoli for site-seeing, eating and shopping. Azzurra was prompt in replying to any questions or concerns. Highly recommended!
The stay was exactly what my friends and I were hoping for. The apartment is beautiful and clean. The kitchen has everything necessary to make a great meal, the living are is comfortable and spacious, and the beds beds are comfortable. I'd say it's an idea apartment for a family (mom, dad, and a couple kids), but it's also good for a group of 3 or four friends.
One warning - it's at the top of a pretty big hill, which is about a 20-30 minute walk from the train station (only 10 minutes from the down town) , so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's not ready for a bit of a hike or not planning to rent a car.
But, once again, it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment.
Gorgeous place! Azzurra has an amazing home to share with the AirBNB community. There is a large room and a smaller children's room and a large comfie couch to sleep in. There are 2 very spacious restrooms and the showers were great! The kitchen is roomie and we were able to enjoy our coffee and breakfast with out issues. There is balcony in the living room that we enjoyed during our stay. It was also very convenient that the apartment, which is as big as a house was on the 1st floor. Azzurra's style really made me feel like I was in a fancy hotel! Thank you Azzurra!
Azzurra is a very friendly host, breakfast was delicious and complete. The apartment is very nice and the view from the balcony of the house is very lovely. I would recommend going for those who want to feel comfortable and away from the bustle of Rome, but very close to town.
