  • We have stayed with Sallyjo for our weekend in London and we enjoyed it very much. First of all, the location of the house is good and it is easy to reach the central London (either by tube or by bus, we preferred the tube). Secondly, the room was big enough and the bed was comfortable. In short, the whole house has a nice vibe to it (artistic in a sound way).
As this was my first experience with Airbnb, I was a little bit afraid of staying with a family in case it would inconvenience either of us. However, that part went smoothly enough.
And the last thing to thank for was delicious breakfast in the mornings (my friend was really amazed by the chocolate cake made by Savas; as I am not such a sugar fan I liked Sallyjo's bread more - traditionally, as everyone else from the reviews, I guess).
I would recommend staying at Sallyjo's if you are travelling to London and, of course, if she has a free room to stay at that moment :)

  • Staying with Sallyjo and her family while I was in London was an absolute treat. Their guest room is lovely and very comfortable, and I felt very welcomed into their home. It was convenient to take either the tube and buses into the city center, and I felt very connected to everywhere I needed to be. I had meetings in South Kensington on my last day and Sallyjo helped me plan my journey, made sure I got there with plenty of time and graciously kept my bags after checkout. I enjoyed getting to know her family and plan to stay with them again when I'm in London - highly recommended!

  • SallyJo is a lovely host. She is welcoming, friendly and her whole family are lovely to be around. The bedroom is a good size with a really comfy bed and loo next door, we were also provided with tea/coffee and homemade bread in the morning! The location is great with a 10 minute walk to the tube or the no 7 bus is across the road. SallyJo also provided us with a map and some great local insider knowledge. We enjoyed our three days in London and would have no hesitation in recommending SallyJo's home as a great place to stay.

  • Hi, So who wants to go to London should really save the hotel and prefer to ask the same for SallyJo. For me, it was the sixth time in London and the first time in SallyJo House, but one thing is clear: never again hotel. Super super clean rooms and a friendly family. Where ever I will be arround I will recommend SallyJo. We were still on the doorstep as she already offered us tea or coffee, amazing. I rarely have met such a nice person like SallyJo. If you have questions of any kind she will be there for you , and regulates itself nor the food order at the restaurant. For us, it was world class and one thing is certain. We will be back. promised. Thank you so very much SallyJo and your whole Family. You have made our four Days in London the most wonderfull special Days I had ever in London. Thanks to your whole Family. All the best to you and I hope we will see us as soon as possible. Best Regards Rene and Dad

  • We had a wonderful weekend at Sallyjo's. The family is very welcoming and kind. They helped us out with whatever we needed and even if we only stayed for two nights it was a real pleasure! Fresh home-made bread in the mornings was defintely a plus! :-) The room is cosy and the house very nicely furnished and decorated. A great experience to book with AirBNB and spend the weekened in a London home!
We had a very good time! Thanks again!!!

  • We had a wonderful time at Sallyjo's! Although we were only there for two nights, we were made to feel part of the family. Sallyjo and her family were extremely welcoming and friendly. Sallyjo particularly helped us to get to where we wanted in London and took a lot of time aside to explain things carefully in detail and mark out on a map which she provided. We were also give a tube map and given a London A-Z to borrow for our stay.
Sallyjo and Sav's children were lovely, with beautiful manners and very sweet. Sav baked the most delicious sourdough bread which has inspired me(Susannah) to bake my own! They also shared their delicious wine with us, and we especially liked the Spanish one, which had been bought locally!
Very beautiful house, wonderfully decorated, very comfortable bed. Overall, a wonderful stay! A warm and friendly family who are also very interesting to chat to. We didn't want to leave!

    From Susannah and Petre :)

  • This was my first experience with AirBNB and my first trip to the UK. Having landed on Saturday night and due to start work on Monday it was a real treat to be welcomed into SallyJo's house. In fact, I have booked another 3 weeks because I have enjoyed the experience so much. The whole family is warm and welcoming and the location is great and safe. I couldn't recommend this place more highly and thanks to SallyJo and her family my 'daunting' and 'scary' move to London felt a lot easier and a lot more fun than expected.

  • Hi SallyJo and Fams! Just want to take this time to thank you a million. My stay at your place for a few days made me feel like I was home. Thank you for taking time to go over places and recommend local areas with me. Your house is so cozy, fun, loving, and comfortable. That bed is AWESOME, if I wasn't visiting London, I'd sleep there all day. :-D. I really felt safe, cared for, and relaxed at your place. Sally Jo's place is near everything, I will never forget the N7 bus. She also provided an Oyster Card, which was helpful and called my taxi to and from the airports. I highly recommend for anyone to come and stay to this loving home. I know I will be (website hidden): Thank you for the well wishes holiday card, so sweet! Love this place. A superb start to my Europe journey.

  • It was absolutely wonderful to stay at the Caddys. SallyJo is a whole hearted airbnb host. The room is cozy, as is the whole hours. The neighbourhood is save and easy to be reached from the city. The bus stop is pretty much in front of the house and Sallyjo provides maps and tips for the immediate area. We really enjoyed our stay with them and will definitly return when coming back to London. Thank you for everything!

  • A fantastic and unexpected pleasure to stay with this lovely family.
Blending in with them yet free to be totally on your own. Just read all the positive reviews. That's why I chose to stay there and those reviews couldn't have been more accurate.

The energy in the home is perfect, and you're free to carry on as you wish, use the kitchen if you like, or whatever. Everything just sort of comes together all by itself. I'll be back there again if for no other reason than I liked these people so much.

I can't think of anything else to add for the moment. Like I said, just read the other reviews.
