Luca was very inviting, welcomed us on our arrival and had excellent recommendations for Vernazza and the surrounding area. The apartment was great - exactly as described and very comfortable. It was our perfect basecamp for a Cinque Terre vacation. Totally recommended!
Luca’s flat in Vernazza was perfect for our family of four. The location was stellar, within easy walking distance of the train station and the Piazza Marconi. Luca’s friend, Emanuela, warmly greeted us upon our arrival and oriented us to the flat and the village. Conveniently located in Vernazza, we enjoyed easy access to all the villages of the Cinque Terre region.
The flat was updated and comfortable, reflecting a modern, artistic feel with all the conveniences we desired while still delivering on the charm of being in Vernazza.
Thank you Luca! We loved your place and loved Vernazza! We will seek to stay in the exact same location whenever we return to Cinque Terre.
Luca was great about communicating with us. He was very responsive to our questions. The apt. Is clean and comfortable in a fantastic location off the Main Street in Vernazza. I would definitely recommend Luca's apt. And would stay there again.
Thank you; we had a great time in Vernazza.
Luca's apartment was easy to find, thanks to his very clear directions, and he was very patient with us answering all our questions about Italy, the Cinque Terre, and transportation in the area. The apartment was comfortable and in a great location. It was clean and well stocked to make our visit very enjoyable. We would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed staying at Lucas studio very much it was in a great location and had everything we needed. We caught up with Luca for a coffee and he gave us some good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Would definitely recommend the studio and we found Vernazza to be a good place to stay when visiting the Cinque Terra. Thanks Luca for having us ☺
We had a wonderful stay at Luca's apartment.
As a host Luca has excellent communication and we felt very well looked after. We were met by the lovely Miriana who ensured we knew where everything was.
The apartment is in a fantastic location, quiet and private (but bring an eye mask for sleeping - the streetlight outside is very bright!), yet so close to the main street where we enjoyed having a drink as the sun set and trying a different restaurant each night. Great location too for setting off on the many different walks available.
We were welcomed by a very accommodating and helpful friend of Luca's, Nadia. Vernazza is as difficult to access as advertised, especially after rainstorms. She patiently waited for us to go around by other roads that had not been washed out. The studio with mezzanine was as expected - a well-equipped kitchenette, ample towels and sheets, in a historical building in the very heart of town. The area in November is very damp and the apartment (and many other places) smells strongly of mildew, to which one becomes accustomed within minutes, but it's a surprise on entry despite the presence of a dehumidifier. The shower is surprisingly spacious and with plenty of hot water. A hair dryer is provided as well as a TV and ample outlets for all gadgets. There is a welcome vestibule to leave muddy boots and umbrellas. Sunday morning 7 a.m. there is an "angelus" - 24 strokes of the church bell, be forewarned! as well as every hour from multiple churches, just a part of the charm. The streetlight shines strongly into the lower part of the studio at night; bring a sleeping mask if such bothers you, but you won't need a nightlight, either. The place is tiled below, and wood floor in the mezzanine, with modern taste, recently redone, and with high ceilings. Luca kindly provides condiments, sugar, and coffee and tea in the morning - though for coffee, you must adapt to the Italian espresso style and the iconic Bialetti maker (we did, gladly)!
