Interaction with Guests
I spend time with each guest upon arrival to make sure you have everything. I can even help your pup get used to the dog door, if needed. It is always nice to run into each other in the common area and chat about your trip, what you do, and be a local resource.
The neighborhood is awesome - biking to town from the nature preserve trail out the back yard, nice safe working class neighborhood (my neighbors are all friendly), super quiet, great coffee house and organic restaurant within walking distance, shopping close by.

Ethan was a fantastic host and his home has the perfect vibe. The bed is super soft and the room is full of sunshine. Ethan shares his home with ease and was always accommodating with the use of washer and dryer and the kitchen. The home is tucked into an authentic Santa Fe neighborhood with a wonderful trail and park just around the corner. I'd want to stay here everytime I come through Santa Fe.
I only stayed one night of my 10 night reservation, forfeiting most of my payment and getting a hotel room instead. Although Ethan was welcoming when I arrived, this rental generally did not meet my needs or expectations. Ethan gave me my keys, then he closed himself into his bedroom before I even moved my bags in. When the uncomfortably cold temperature in the bedroom kept me from falling asleep, Ethan’s roommate kindly brought me a space heater when I asked. The bedroom is cozy. I moved the computer desk out of the closet so I could work and hang clothes in the closet, but I found that moving the desk left very little space for me to maneuver in the room occupied with the described large and comfortable bed. Ethan and his roommate have two large dogs who were very, very friendly. The bathroom in this house is shared with two male roommates. It’s clean and located right outside the bedroom door so you can hear when it is available. The neighborhood is decidedly working-class, as described. It’s quiet, not being terribly close – relatively speaking – to the commercial areas of Santa Fe or the historic downtown area. The space was not suitable for my needs, but for a budget-minded traveler who simply wants a place to sleep, it may be just perfect.
A few days before we were to land in Santa Fe, our lodging plans fell apart. I went to Airbnb for see if I could find anything on such short notice that would also allow us to bring our dog. Ethan wrote back right away saying, "You can stay with us". So friendly. After we arrived he gave us a wealth of information about Santa Fe, where to hike, where to find art, where to get a good cup of coffee... His home is a gallery of interesting art and the roommates are very polite and his dog, Kira is a sweetheart. Thanks, Ethan!
Ethan is a great host. He was available for any questions I had about the area or advice for directions, food, etc. The house was very clean and cozy. I really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood with the spacious hiking trails behind the house. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The dog was very friendly and clean. I would certainly consider staying here again.
Ethan was a great host and the best part was that my dog was able to stay there also and play with his dog. The home was a great place for me to study - quiet and clean. My first air bnb experience and it was totally positive.
Ethan was a fantastic host and the apartment was perfect for my extended stay in Santa Fe. It is a great house that feels like home away from home right away, close to downtown Santa Fe and hiking/biking trails, gorgeous view of the mountains from the lovely backyard and a plus with the wonderful roommates and Kira (the dog). I highly recommend staying there!
Ethan is a great host! Very knowledgeable about the area and accommodating to guests.
