Had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The best thing is certainly the location - just in the city centre, super close to all the main sights. Also the house's inner yard is nice and safe. In the flat you have just about everything you need, and everything in there worked well, from wi-fi to the shower. The place is very clean and cosy, in general. Unfortunately we didn't mean Paola and Luca, as we arrived earlier than planned, but Luca's parents were very nice and welcoming and showed us around. They spoke very little English, but it wasn't a problem at all. The walls of the house are quite thin though, so if someone is speaking really loudly outside, you'll hear it. But during nighttime it was always quiet, so it didn't cause any problems for sleeping.
The location of the apartment was perfect for a brief walk to duomo or navigli. There are plenty of places to shop and eat in the area.. This was our favorite Italy trip so far! The wifi had some trouble but Luca and Paola were quick to get it remedied through the ISP. The parents were also very helpful and friendly. Great apartment and great hosts! Highly recommended
I liked the apartment very much. It has very unique atmosphere of italian living, it is really tidy. At the arrival we had some difficulties with the heating but the hosts were very attentive and helpful and settled the problem immediately. The location is SUPERB! You can reach all the places of interest in Milano within 15 min (if you walk). Nearby are plenty of restaurants and shops and youth bars. You gonna have really great time there.
We stayed three adults and one toddler. And could easily have quiet nights' sleep. The apartment was very nice, on the smaller side for three adults, but perfect for a vacation in Milano since we weren't really spending much time in the apartment anyway. The house and the courtyard are beautiful, classic italian.
Paola was so kind to provide a travel cot and beddings for our 2 year old son as well as a high chair. We never actually met Paola and Luca, but Luca's parents were really helpful when checking in and out.
On our way to Milano, our son hurt his arm and we had to take him to the hospital. Paola and Luca were very nice and offered help, which was very reassuring even though we didn't need help at that point.
The best thing about this place was the location. Just a short walk from the Duomo situated in an nicer part of the center. Great for shopping and great for restaurants, with a little bit of Berlin vibe to it. Very young and happening, and not far from Navigli with all its' restaurants and bars.
I can definitely recommend Paola's and Luca's apartment.
We were met as planned by Paola and Luca who were very welcoming and showed us around - explained about access to the apartment etc. The apartment is very centrally located and in a really great area of the city with access to most of the sights on foot. It is compact, clean, fitted with all necessary appliances and worked really well for us. Great restaurants were available in the area on travel guides etc. and these were excellent. Shopping was great - positively dangerous!! A great experience all round.
