great location in the NOPA/Western Addition neighborhood....nice comfortable sunny room with lots of drawer/closet space, TV, cable which includes premium channels, HBO and Showtime, iPod dock for music, WiFi, DVD player with movies to watch, and your own little refrigerator with cold water. Comfortable new bed with nice clean linens! There is a washer/dryer, kitchen is updated with every gadget/appliance you will need and hundreds of cookbooks. A home cooked meal can be arranged at an additional fee!! Coffee, tea and treats are complimentary!
Close to two major bus lines, Golden Gate Park and Divisadero shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet and safe and pretty much in the center of the city. San Francisco map and guide books are available.....will help with restaurant recommendations/reservations.
We do have two small adorable dachshunds and a cat that are usually at the other end of the place where our bedroom is. We are usually out of the house by 7am and home around 7pm....we do cook at home most nights.
Come and go as you please at any time! Please no smoking inside. Welcome to use washer/dryer.....detergent is included!
Beautiful and modern place. Very clean and well maintained.
Michael was extremely sweet and welcoming—he's a super nice guy. We were offered a variety of teas and coffees, and our room had a bowl of chocolate and a fridge stocked with water bottles.
Great neighbourhood too.
Accurate description of the unit was provided.
We really enjoyed our stay!
I loved staying with David and Michael! Their place was beautiful and clean and they were so hospitable! They made our very special New Years stay all the better! I wish I could live there!!
Michael and David couldn't have been more welcoming. They made sure I had a key to the house in the morning and didn't mind that I came before check-in. Their house is lovely and the room very comfortable. And the neighborhood was fantastic! We walked to Golden Gate Park along Haight Street and then took in Alamo Park at sunset. Many restaurants were within walking distance. All in all, we have a great stay.
Never enough words to describe the quaint, perfect, private, hospitable environment that my girlfriend and I stayed in for 4 days and 3 nights. Woke up early at 6am coffee was a breeze with the keurig and nespresso machine in the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen with my pajamas on and did not see Michael or David until we left at 8am so explore the city and surrounding areas. Very private enviornment in which j was hesitant to stay but realized it was just an extra fancy apartment of "our own". Loved the hospitality that was given and the knowledge of the area written on post cards for areas of interest to see in wine country. The bathrooms were a breeze to use without the awkwardness of seeing a "stranger" in your place of stay even though it is their house. Everything was to be described perfectly, even the distance to the trolleys, busses and downtown area. I and my girlfriend absolutely love the area as well as the perfect size bedroom in which we hospitted for a few days. Everything about our stay was expected and a little more I might add. It was perfect and I want to buy Michaels place! Excellent location and styling! I don't know how much more beautiful it can get with the new renditions but I am excited to hear about it. Thank you so very much for your kindness and helpfulness in the place we know nothing about. Thank you!
The host's were absolutely the BEST!!!! Very helpful, generous and made me feel very welcome and at home. I would absolutely stay again and again with them. Description of the apartment was accurate. Also, good location for walking and getting exercise. Close to restaurants and shopping.......thanks Michael and David
Michael was a great host, he was flexible in my arrival and departure times. Michael and David's place was very clean and comfortable with wonderful kitchen and coffee areas. The room, bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The entire place was contemporary and nice. Several convenient stores and restaurants walking distance. Parking was a little difficult in the NOPA area, but it was well worth it.
Michael here.....been living in San Francisco for 13 years, work for SFMOMA, enjoy cooking, cycling, spending time with my partner and & our two adorable dachshunds!
