Ken's home is full of interesting art and beautiful views. All of the bed's were very comfortable and the quite surroundings made it all the more restful. Greg the caretaker of the house was helpful, but not obtrusive. The drive to Telluride is not terrible about 25 minutes and very scenic. Ken has a great collection of records to come back and unwind to. Thanks Greg & Ken.

Ken was an excellent host. Everything we needed was there including sleds for the kids. The place is extremely cozy and packed with great art. We loved the location 15 minutes from town with a park nearby for the kids to play in the snow. We will definitely stay again.

We had a great time and really enjoyed Ken's home! The on-site contact was helpful and friendly, and the house was very spacious, well decorated, and fully functional! I was very happy we were able to use the fireplaces, listen to records, grill out, play chess... We certainly plan to visit here again.

Ken, It was so nice to stay at your house. We felt so at home, close to town but close to our friends down valley. We made dinner for another couple and dined to the sounds of Poco and Pure Prairie League drifting from your turntable. It felt like I had returned home again! Much thanks and no doubt we will be back in touch for another stay soon. Best to you! Kate

Ken User ProfileKen is a superhost.

I am a professional builder living part time in Los Angeles as well as Telluride, Colorado. I love the West, horseback riding, skiing, good food and wine, literature, pre-historic ruins of the Southwest and romps in the wild places. I have lived and traveled widely throughout the U.S. and feel Southwestern Colorado has more than its share of exquisite scenery.
When I built the house I tried to create a space that would reflect the tastes and culture of the Southwest. The house is part Trading Post and part Route 66 Diner.
It's always been a fun gathering spot for food and friends. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
