About This Listing
Spacious, sunny private guest bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. WIFI, hardwood floors, eat-in kitchen, great views, prime walking location. Fresh Stylish and Clean =)
For all reservation requests, please message with desired time of day for both check in & out, I try to be as flexible as possible around my own work schedule.
The guest room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The window faces the street and has an awesome view. The room gets a lot of sunlight and you can hear the famous Cable Car bell when it passes by on the street below. This room is our guest room/home office, not a sublet of someone's personal room, so it is clear of most personal items and ready for you to feel at home in. In the room will be a bath towel, liens for your use.
The eat-in kitchen has all the goodies which guests are welcome to use. You can store whatever food you wish in the refrigerator and are always welcome to make a cup of tea for yourself with any tea you find in the cupboard.
The building is very small and is controlled access. Located on the 3rd floor walkup, no elevator. North Beach parking garage is one block away, open 24 hours however it is highly recommended to use public transit/cabs/walk/rideshare in this area. If you have a specific question about doing any of that please feel free to ask.
*****Please message with desired check in/out times along with any other questions you may have. I try to be as flexible as possible with my guests with arrival/departure times and am happy to provide any additional information about the place or San Francisco in general. Thanks!

Interaction with Guests
My boyfriend and I live in the apartment in our own private bedroom. I am available as a resource as needed although I tend to be a pretty private person. I handle most of the guest interactions however the boyfriend is happy to help too if needed or I am away.
Located in North Beach (not Chinatown, zipcode 94133) on a quiet block at the base of Russian Hill, close to many restaurants and shops. On the Powell/Mason cable car line, 3 blocks from a major muni bus stop. You can easily walk to the Financial district, Fisherman's Wharf, Telegraph Hill, Ghirardelli Square, Little Italy, Chinatown, Nob Hill, Union Square and the Ferry Building.
I have lived in North Beach for six years and love it! No place in SF like it :)
There is a lot of public transit near by also walking to places is easy to since the apartment is in the heart of the city. If you would like to find the best way to get to a certain location in the city, I can show you on a map upon your arrival.
-Do your own dishes
-Hit the lights if you are leaving a room
-Keep noise to a minimum in common building hallway
-No smoking cigarettes inside apartment
-Be respectful to the neighbors
Jessica was very courteous and prompt in responding to all my inquiries and making sure that I didn't mind that she was not going to be at the apartment but someone else was going to be there with the keys and available to me during the trip. The room was as expected. It was quiet, very sunny and a perfect fit for my needs, especially because of its location. I would definitely stay there again.
Fantastic location; close but not so much as to leave you feeling crowded. The room was clean as pictured and the location matched the description exactly. No complaints and would stay again!
The host was gracious and helpful.
Jessica is a great host and she's quick to communicate and follow up. Very easy-going and friendly. The room was exactly as described and the location is unbeatable. Would definitely book again.
Jessica is very nice. The place is conveniently located. Recommended!
This was my very first experience using Airbnb and I was definitely satisfied by my stay at Jessica's place. As a former resident of SF I didn't want to stay in the Union Square area and it was great to be somewhere more "local". Jessica definitely made me feel comfortable in her flat and the room was a good value for the price considering how crazy expensive the city is. I wouldn't recommend it for super light sleepers as the trolley is a bit noisy but it didn't bother me at all. During my 5 night stay I never needed to wait to use the shower and only saw Jessica when I checked in so it felt like I had the entire place to myself.
About the Host, Jessica
When playing host I am happy to help with anything you may need to make your stay more enjoyable. I am very familiar with the city (lived here for over 10 years) so if you need any suggestions or directions, I'm your gal! I am also game to have as little face time as possible for the do it yourself folks who are big on privacy. I host on airbnb roughly 50% of the year, when my schedule permits.
When playing guest I am polite and considerate. I always treat other's homes as my own and am happy to follow any house rules set. For the most part I tried to have my travel plans mostly squared away but I am always open to restaurant/coffee tips.
I am in my early 30's and work in the financial district in San Francisco. I enjoy going out to bars/movies/parks/wine tasting, hanging out with friends and all the normal junk. I have no pets so that means I have extra love for other people's pets. Mostly I keep to myself, do a typical work week and moderate weekend stuff. I am a sucker for good coffee and jazzy musicals.
Authentic Chicago Italian dishes and pizza. Also a great Whiskey bar!
The best place in North Beach to get a sandwich!! Old school Italian Deli, closes 6pm, closed Sundays. Grab food here and sit in the park and you are livin' the North Beach life!
Russian Hill / North Beach / Chinatown
Awesome espresso! Great people watching spot! Cool local crowd :)
Great tacos in north beach! I eat here a lot and have never once been close to let down.
Restaurant in the bar called "Amante" great food and nice place for a drink. Great if you wanna people watch outside.
The oldest bar in SF, open since 1861. Live music almost every night.
Closet Laundromat with the least amount of hill :)
Cheap happy hour! Nice folks!
No cigars, or smoke. A great place to eat alone, good for people watching.
The ONLY real Italian food left from back in the day!
A more upscale version of Pisto's tacos down the street. Great food but pretty loud and be prepared for a little of a wait.. Best time is to walk in right when they open or very late at night.
Free and interesting.. perhaps the best part is you get to see the giant wheels underground which keep the cable cars going.
$$$ nice restaurant if you want to spend a little. good idea to make reservations.
Trader Joe's - Amazing fresh (not frozen) microwave ready food!
North Point Shopping Centre - Safeway inside
An interactive museum consisting of 20th-century penny arcade games and artifacts. The best part of Pier 39!
This coffee will ruin all other coffee for you. Coffee this good is a work of art.. If you truly love coffee (like me!!) then this is your spot :)
