Dear future guests,
We are four friends who would like to welcome you in our ‘sleep and art’ apartment named Atelier 5. It is a place where you can sleep comfortably and enjoy the exhibitions of photos, paintings, sculptures, texts - poetry and other art works created mostly by the artists who live in Venice, but also by the artists from abroad. The room has confortable double bed and small terrace from where you can enjoy a view on the neighboring roofs that is typical for Venice. Atelier 5 is on the second floor and the rooms are well illuminated. We offer you organic breakfast (95 %) with coffee or orzo (coffee of barley) and finest tea selection. If you have any allergies and food intolerance, we will find the products for breakfast that are good for your diet. The kitchen is well equipped, and beside for breakfast you can use it as well to prepare lunch or dinner for you. Only thing that we ask is to keep it clean after you use it.
Apartment has a Wi-Fi internet.
We respect our environment, and to wash bed linens, towels and to clean the apartment we use only organic products.
We recommend this room also to the families with one child and we can provide an extra child bed. There is no sleeping fee for the children up to the age of 4 years. In addition, in case you need a baby sitter or pediatrician for your child, we can help you to find one.
If you are an artist feel free to bring your art works with you and became a part of Atelier 5 art exhibitions.
The apartment is situated in Sestiere Cannaregio close to the Cannaregio canal and nearby Ghetto, where is living the Venetian Jewish Community. Cannaregio canal is very nice and sunny place where you can walk, have a coffee, lunch or dinner. Atelier 5 is placed in residential and peaceful area, 10 minutes walk from the train station St Lucia and 15 minutes walk from the main bus station Piazzale Roma. Near by the apartment, there is a beautiful city park with a kid’ playground and where you can relax, walk or read your book or even have a picnic. All other interesting and important Venetian destinations are also very close to the house. The street ‘Strada Nuova’ with shops, bars, restaurants and other services is just 5 minutes walk from the house. You can reach Rialto (Rialto bridge, fish market) in 20 minutes walk or using public transport “vaporetto” (line 1) or taking traghetto (Gondola) from the Grand Canal (St Sofia traghetto station) that will bring you to the Venetian picturesque fish and vegetable market. Only few minutes walk from the house there is a waterbus station 4.1. - 4.2 and 5.1.-5.2 on the Cannaregio Canal that can bring you directly to the Venetian Biennale exhibition locations Giardini and Arsenale and to the other Venetian islands: Murano (famous for the glass art works) and Lido, location of the Venetian Film Festival and the city beach. On the same station also stops the waterbus ‘Alilaguna – linea arancio’ that you can take in case you decide to take the waterbus from and to the Venice airport Marco Polo.
Once you are in Venice we will be happy to recommend you interesting places to visit, for art, for food, to listen some nice live music, etc.
Please write to us if you need any additional information.
Emplacement idéal pour visiter Venise. Proche des transports, restaurant et bar sympa à proximité.

We came to stay in Venice as a couple for the mask carnival, the apartment is 15 min walk from the San Marco square but it's easy to get there water bus or walking. The hosts are very nice and gave us awesome advice for when and where to go!! The breakfast was a little disappointing but other wise totally recommended !!!
Will defiantly stay there again :-)
Bright and sunny apartment in good location in Venezia. Wonderful hosts too. Will definitely return!
We stayed at Atelier 5 for 11 consecutive nights and it exceeded our expectations - the hosts are helpful (and friendly - e.g., Masa invited us to join her for live music one evening), the bathroom and kitchen are clean and well-equipped, our fellow guests were very congenial, the building is very quiet, there are great blinds that keep the rooms very dark at night (it's important to ask the hosts how to operate them if you're not familiar with these types of blinds - it took us a couple of days to figure it out)(also the beds were a bit harder than us cushy Canadians are used to so we simply put an extra comforter on top of the mattresses - that made it better), the price is very good, the location is very good and it's in a safe neighbourhood (also important to ask the hosts where the button is to unlock the front gate of the little yard of the condo building if it's locked, and where the button is on the other side of the gate to turn on the light by the front door of the condo building - they didn't have time to do this when we arrived and again it took us a couple of days to figure it out). I definitely would stay at Atelier 5 again and would recommend it to anyone.
l'appartement est très agréable très calme très bien placé dans un quartier chaleureux et authentique
merci à armina pour son accueil et sa discrétion
My parents went there for two days for the Venice Marathone, all was fine very clean and very well organized especially the breakfast.
The only problem is that you have to leave the bedroom at 10 am and it's not possible to leave the suitcases thare until the departure from the city. So my parents had to leave the bedroom at 10 am and paid for a suitcase deposit in the train station that is 5€ for suitcase for 5hours. So if you are not leaving the city aerly in teh morning you have to take into consideration this extra expense.
Good service, warm welcome, good support (restaurants, biennale).
We enjoyed the accommodation especially because of the beautiful art in all rooms. You easily meet other travellers.
The flat is situated in Cannaregio near to Vaporetto stations with easy access to important points in Venice.
Lovely light, spacious & quiet room in a great area; very clean on arrival. Generous, organic, healthy & tasty breakfast food provided. Zora's suggestion for music the first night resulted in an amazing experience at Paradiso Perduto. Morning routine was a little awkward sharing one bathroom and a very small kitchen among 5 guests. Shower and bed were adequate and hosts pleasant and responsive. No change of towels during our 6 night stay. Great location, near to train station and vaporetta, restaurants and food shopping. Walking distance to all major sightseeing.
Had a nice stay at atelier 5, loved the neighborhood and the view of the room. The appartment is really lovely decorated and the concept that artists show their work, I think it is a splendid idea. Armina received me well and was very helpful. Only point of critique was the fact that one of the nights I stayed they rented out 3 rooms in stead of two (as I expected), which makes the price of the double quite expensive compared to other AirBNB places in Venice. So good to ask in advance how many people are staying at the same time.
Thank you for the nice thoughts, and for the third room, as Claudio explained to you we usually don't rent. We do it as an emergency and always if some friends ask us to do it, and for the people that can not find accommodation. Sometimes to find place to stay can be really a problem in Venice. We are also experienced in traveling and we think that is good to accept sometimes some surprises or even be able to help someone about something on his/her trip. Prices of our rooms are comparable to other prices in the city. Since you were alone and when you asked to stay with us I also offered you a single room in order to pay less, but you preferred to stay in double room. I'm really sorry for this surprise of the third room renting.
