Interaction with Guests
We live in the same building, and guests can always contact us if necessary.
Usually we like welcoming guests personally, unless we are out of Rome, and saying good bye when they leave.
We are available for any information. Do not hesitate to contact us.
The neighborhood is not a touristic place. Here you can live like a local resident. There are a lot of food shops (supermarket too).
The quarter is lively during the morning but quite calm at night since there is no movida (if you like it you can get there walking - about 20 minutes - or by bus).
We are really close to St Peter and its magnificence and viewing St. Peter's place by night is an exciting experience. If you like Nativity Scenes you can visit that of the roman street cleaners, open almost the whole year; it is built with small bits of stones from all over the world. The Pope visits it every year. Really beautiful and a few minutes walking away from our building.
There is a playground in 5 minutes walk, next to St. Peter’s railstation too.
In addition there are two hospitals, the Santo Spirito, near St. Peter's Square, and Il Bambino Gesù, pediatric; both are within walking distance.
Not far from us there is a wide, wonderluf public park too (Villa Pampjili) where enjoying walking and jogging, It was the country residence of a family of the Roman nobility, and so has come down to us intact. The villa itself is a representative office of the President of the Council of Ministers. Nearby there is also the Gianicolo, beautiful terrace on Rome with lots of trees and a view that embraces the whole town.
The quarter is very well connected.
Our location is only 5 minutes far away from S. Peter's railstation (from/to Fiumicino airport - change in Trastevere railstation - and Civitavecchia).
From/to the airport pick up service available (fee).
There is a free parking 200 mt far from the building (white stripes), but an indoor parking (fee) is available too.
We recommend not to use of a car to get around in Rome
64 bus is frequent, fast and crosses all downtown until Termini railstation, getting you close to most important sites to visit.
Metro is farer (beyond St. Peter) and you can't enjoy the beauty of Rome travelling underground.
You can walk too, if you like. Navona place is about 20-25 minutes far away and I love walking there. Moreover, even if downtown is very wide, you can enjoy your visit only walking, so you can go around narrow and characteristic streets, almost without cars, and discover the real soul of old Rome, that you can't see using buses on the main streets.
No pets allowed; no smoking indoor (there is a fitted balcony to do that comfortably)
No noise during rest hours (2-4 pm; after 10 pm)
Leave the kitchen clean
Respect the separate collection and dispose of waste in the bins in the street before leaving
Don't waste power, please. Switch off lights and electric devices you don't need or when you are not at home
A beautiful place for a family vacations in Rome.
Excellent location and services.
Spacious, beautiful and very comfortable. Perfect location for any option whether bus, taxi or walking to basically anywhere. Close to attractions yet in a quiet and safe residential area. Grocery store one block away with very inexpensive prices. Giovanna was a lovely hostess with prompt response to all inquiries. Air conditioning is an added cost of 7 euros a day but very much worth it in August. I had heard the AC was not as good as in the U.S. but Giovanna's worked great to cool the apartment quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights stay in Rome. Giovanna met us on our arrival and was helpful in explaining important tips for our stay, such as places to visit, transport links and most importantly how to work the air conditioning! The apartment was well equipped and exactly as described. It was large and spacious and ideal for our family of 5. We enjoyed being very close to St. Peter's and on a good bus route into the city centre. Checkout was easy as Giovanna came back to make sure we had enjoyed our stay and to collet the keys.
We really liked our stay in Rome. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from St. Peter's square. The bus stop is about 50 meters away. Immediately next to the house there is a little breakfast place with good coffee and sandwiches. There is a bakery and many little and one bigger grocery stores.
The apartment is in a nice, clean building on the 3rd floor. It has three bedrooms and a spacious living room. The bedrooms have A/C units, the living room does not have its own, but the units from the bedrooms can keep the living area cool as well. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a tub. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment has a washing machine as well, which will allow the travelers to carry less clothes.
Giovanna is a great host. She explained everything in detail and walked is through the house and the features quickly. She made sure we had everything we needed. She even has travel books, maps and ticket information prepared. The checkout was just as easy as the check in. We were asked to leave the keys and pull the door shot.
This place is ideal for a larger family and provides plenty of space and a lovely environment for a pleasant trip to Rome.
Barrio tranquilo y bien situado.
