Joel was a great host and I would recommend his condo. It is located in a retrofitted warehouse with many cool features. Great ceilings and massive windows. We were in Louisville for the Derby Festival and were walking distance to everything happening in the downtown area. Here is what I especially liked:
(1) Location. Downtown Louisville is entirely within walking distance including great dining, the Waterfront Park on the Ohio, and venues like Slugger Field.
(2) The kitchen is amazing - modern and well stocked. Beds are comfy and the shower, especially in the master bedroom is awesome. The dining area easily seats 6, so we were able to cook meals for a larger group.
(3) Joel made everything easy. He met me at the condo and walked me through everything I needed to know. The space was immaculately clean, furniture was nice, and I felt very much at home.
There are not many good grocers in walking distance, but uber serves the area pretty well and we just got rides to area markets.
Joel's place was absolutely beautiful. He gave us a quick tour of the place to let us know where everything was at. We truly enjoyed our stay, it has everything you could want or need and the most perfect location. It was nice to have coffee available. The furniture was very comfortable of the bedrooms were nice and private. Great modern spacious loft style space for two couples enjoying a getaway.
This was one of the most comfortable places we've stayed. We are also Airbnb hosts. Joel had everything set up and ready to go, even covered for emergencies. Walk to the convention center. I hate to give this one a good review because I'd like to keep it secret for myself. Will always stay here when in town!
Perfect home. Perfect location. Perfect host. Joel has an incredible space that is nestled in an ideal location. I would definitely book again on my next trip to Louisville.
Beautiful and extraordinarily comfortable place, walking distance to tons of downtown restaurants and sights.
Grest host. Very well organized and helpful.
I recommend the place and host extremely highly.
My colleagues and I loved staying at Joel's loft in downtown Louisville! It was clean and cozy, had a convenient and fun location, and fit all of our needs perfectly. Joel is a great host. He was very quick to respond to our questions. He also had plenty of supplies that we might need, including a very comfortable air mattress, extra sheets, plenty of towels, and more. I definitely recommend staying here!
Joel's loft was perfect for our needs. It has top of the line, modern furnishings and is in a hip building with great common areas located just a few blocks from the convention center. We conducted client meetings in the condo during a convention and it was much nicer and more private than one of the hotels. There is also a reserved garage parking spot which made dealing with the not so nice winter weather much easier. Not only was the place great, but Joel was also extremely attentive and answered all of our questions promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

A native of Montana but living in Louisville for more than 20 years, I now call Kentucky home. I also recently started splitting time between Louisville and Nashville, so am putting my country background to good use and occasionally get to wear cowboy boots to work.
I travel mostly for business ... but for pleasure when work allows. I'm one of those rare people who truly enjoys my job as I learn something new every day.
I am new to Airbnb and look forward to sharing my home with you.
