Great location, quiet and well stocked. It is an older home so don't expect brand new. Bed was very comfortable and the hosts were quick to respond to our emails. Easy checkin and checkout.

Suzanne's home was beautiful and very comfortable. It had all the old victorian charm, with all of the modern amenities you need. The front porch was exceptionally lovely on a nice day. The location is about 20 minutes walk from downtown (Spring Garden), but there is so much around the South End neighborhood that we didn't even go downtown all that much. Easy walk to the Farmer's Market and the waterfront area (eat at The Bicycle Thief!), and beautiful, coastal and historic Point Pleasant Park is nearby too. Two grocery stores are just a couple blocks away, which we really appreciated, and Barrington St. and Holis St. have coffee shops and restaurants all along it. Worth noting that we did a number of excursions and day trips around Nova Scotia and to PEI, so it was very helpful to have a few car rental places to choose from that were all in walking distance. Final thing to note is just that there is an apartment building next door, so there is a fair amount of foot traffic and car traffic along the street. We had a great time in Halifax! Thanks, Suzanne!

Suzanne is a lovely, generous and responsive host. She reached out to us long before our arrival and gave us clear instructions on how to get in, tips about restaurants and places to visit, and did everything she could to make us feel welcome. We had some issues that were beyond her control and she was responsive and went out of her way to help us. The location of the townhouse is fantastic - walking distance from the farmer's market, the main grocery stores, lots of different restaurant options and coffee shops. You get quite a lot of house for your money and you truly feel like you are back in another time staying there - it is a lovely old house with lots of light and air and high ceilings.

A great place to stay and visit Halifax harbour. We were well pleased with location and amenities. Local attractions and restaurants are in walking distance. If you love the charm of an older home, you will be pleased with the interior details.

The condo is a great place to stay in Halifax. Lots of quirky charm and comfort. It is a big space, over two floors, with lots of natural light. I loved the curved staircase and stain gass window. It was well appointed with everything we needed and in a great location. Parking was easy. Sheets were soft, pillows were comfortable. My husband was kept wake by street noise as we had the windows open but this didn't bother me. We had two great dinners out - the first at Chives and the second at a place called Primal. We also spend Saturday morning at the Seaport market which is a must for anyone visiting Halifax. Prospect park is also nearby and a great place to take a walk. Thanks for hosting us Suzanne. We'd love to come back.
