The lakes region of Maine is a great vacation destination. Little Sebago lake is pristine and amenable to all water sports. Boat rentals nearby as well. House is across from water with shared beach and dock. Canoe is provided. The lake is warm and shallow enough to swim in safely - great beach for small children.
Gray, Maine is about twenty minutes from Portland, Maine and the ocean beaches are nearby as well.

This was such a great vacation house! It was right near a beautiful lake called Little Sebago Lake and the house was large and spacious. We were four all together on this trip, and the house was more than sufficient for all of us (in fact, there was one bedroom that we didn't even use). We absolutely loved the big open kitchen, which was perfectly functional and fully equipped with oven, stove-top, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and coffee, and ample amount of dishes and glasses and mugs and cuttery. There were dining table, breakfast table, a porch table, and even a garden table, where we had nice breakfasts in the mornings. We really enjoyed cooking and staying at home in this house. There were two living rooms on the ground floor, and in the basement, a great entertainment area with movie screen and DVD's plus a billiard table. It was really great. Although we didn't really have time (we just had so many activities to keep us entertained in the region, like going to the beach in Casco Bay and seeing the lighthouses, etc..), the owner even provided us with a canoe with life jackets for those who like the outdoors to explore the beautiful lake. And the beach chair was handy for sitting outside and soaking up the sun.
Ed the owner of the house, was very nice, and made sure that everything was okay in the house, and was quick in communication, whenever we had any questions.
We'd really love to come back again!
Thank you so much!
Ed was a wonderful host, and the house more than met our expectations. It was a perfect home-base for my family visiting from out of town. Thanks, Ed!
Although I grew up in upstate New York, my wife and I moved to Maine because we love living in a place that has such easy access to the ocean and the mountains, the fresh air and a healthy lifestyle. This is my first experience with Airbnb.
I will be a fair and reliable host and hope that this home will help you create great memories during your vacation in Maine.
