Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
This log cabin was custom built for my family and for generations to come. You will enjoy this home as the perfect vacation hideaway nestled in the mountains with a view of Lolo Creek and Lolo Peak while still being close to modern day accoutrements.

The space
This log home sits on 48 acres of land that is mostly mountain terrain, trees, and a few horses. The log home is adjacent and close to the main house where I and my husband live, but completely separate. The property is just off of Highway 12 so you can easily access nearby towns, bars, and local attractions. Lots of hiking trails to explore nearby. There's a hiking trail at the back of the property and you're welcome to explore.
There is a glass propane stove which keeps the space very comfortable during the cold season.

Where you’ll be

Lolo, Montana, United States

My Place is a nice way to break up your driving, for rest and sleep if you have plans of going to Glacier National Park or Yellowstone National Park. Or you could just enjoy the cabin itself. You could have just peace and quiet if you want to .
This area is unique in that it is very close to highly frequented spots such as:
- Lolo Creek Steak House - On Highway 12 west, half a mile from Lolo. On the way coming to my place.
- Lolo Hot Springs - Enjoy soaking. Also check their website for other things
to do like snow mobiling in the winter, horse trail ride in the summer, hiking
etc.
>Jerry Johnson hot springs - you could Google it for more info. It requires hiking to get there.
We have maps, sight seeing brochures, printed information, etc. in the cabin
Feel free to ask if you need directions or things to do in the area.
> Lolo Pass - offers lots of trails for hiking, cross country skiing, sledding,
snowshoeing, mountain biking. You could also do this stuff, weather permits, when there's a full moon. Also stop by at Idaho Visitor's Center for more things to do.
- Jack Saloon (featured in "The Best Bars in America" movie"). It's also a place to eat.
- Lochsa River/Lodge - offers Class 3-4 river rafting spring and summer. Pls check their website.
- Lochsa Lodge - is also a restaurant

Five things I can't live without: Internet, rice, peace & quiet, creature comforts, city-life. My life motto: treat others and they would like to be treated.

During your stay

My husband and I live in the adjacent main house, close to the main house. We love to chat and visit with you if you want to but we do respect and value your time and privacy at the same time. I'm still busy working and I'm in and out of the house. If I am available, you are more than welcome to use the main house amenities such as the washer/dryer or Internet to help make your stay more enjoyable.
