We did not meet Lauro but the gentleman who welcomed us was extremely helpful - he even helped to carry our bag and stroller as we were travelling with two small kids. The flat was excellent and we slept very well throughout our stay. The only drawback was that during the first two nights of our stay the lighting in the staircase was out of order and one had to search one's way in the dark. At the second day the house-wide issue got repaired.

Trastevere is a wonderful place to stay on Rome. Walking to all the sites was very special. The place is quiet and perfect for two couples.

The apartment is perfectly located for those how like a fairly quiet neighborhood within the most exiting area in Rom. You can walk everywhere in old town in 45 Min. For those who like jogging; there is a running path in 200 m distance along the river. The apartment is 1970's style and full of light. Even though there are 2 bathrooms only one show is working with warm water at the time.

Thanks Lauro for an incredible stay! Awesome location- super spacious apartment that keeps a great temperature at night and during the day. Plenty of room for 4 people. No street noise and was great to have elevator with our bags. We would stay here again!

Lauro's dad was a great person. We arrived about 30 minutes late because our taxi driver got lost and when we got there, he was outside waiting the entire time. When we got to the apartment, he explained everything in detailed and made sure we were all good to go before he left. In addition to that, he helped me figure out how to take the late bus to the Rome Termini station to catch a morning train. Prompt responses! The apartment was great. It's in a very central Trastevere location. About 30 minutes walking distance to the Vatican City (take the nice scenic route under the passageway along the Tiber River). It's also a 20-30 minutes walking to the Colosseum, Navona Square, Pantheon, etc. Great location for eating as well. And the internet wifi was VERY good if you're a traveler who likes to upload videos/photos for blogs. Our stay was very enjoyable and we would 100% book again next time we're in Rome. DEFINITELY book this if you're with a family of 4+!

We are a group of ladies visiting Rome for 4 nights in September 2016. We did not meet Lauro but the gentleman that checked us in was great. He was very punctual meeting us at the apartment and provided the information we needed. The apartment was quite spacious and we really enjoyed being able to check in early in the afternoon and not have to wait. The one thing that some might find challenging is that both showers are quite small. The Trastevere area was a great place to stay. We wished we had more time to just explore that area. I would definitely recommend staying at Ripense Apartment.

A nice, clean spacious apartment in a great location. Lauro is a very helpful host who was very friendly and accommodating. He had excellent recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area. I would definitely stay again.
