The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located home in Summit Township close to Peach Street attractions and restaurants. An updated 1920s era block & stucco home located just 5-7 minutes from Splash Lagoon, ERIE Sports park/Ice Skating & Soccer fields, Millcreek Mall, Millcreek Community Hospital, I-90 and a variety of restaurants and stores. Built out of block, the home is serene and peaceful. The back yard is large, partially wooded and private w/ firepit.
The space
We have 2 desks great for remote workers. This house is set up with a checkers table, several board games and books for the little ones. The kitchen has newer appliances and is ready for your home away from home meal preparation. A large dining table is right next to the kitchen island. While the weather is nice, you can dine outside on the back porch.
The first floor has an entry (mud) room to drop your shoes and jackets, a living room (with 2 couches, large smart TV, desk) and a kitchen with a dining area and a stacked washer/dryer unit. The full bath on the 1st floor has a stand up shower. The basement, garage and 2 utility closets are locked for owner use only.
The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms with a full bath that has a tub/shower combo. The 4th bedroom is smaller with a desk and 2 twin size beds. The other 3 bedrooms have the following bed sizes: 1 King, 1 Queen with futon (folds down to a twin size bed), and 1 Twin over Full bunk bed. Note that the top bunk is best for children on the lighter side. Although it does not state that on the bed, a past guest had noted that it is not great for adults or larger children.
Each bedroom has a small closet and 2 windows. We provide bedding and towels as well as toiletries (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and basic body wash, shampoo and conditioner) to get you through your first night or two until you make it to a store to stock up for the rest of your stay. The kitchen is stocked with basic spices, oil and pans. A coffee maker, toaster, blender and crock pot is also available.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house except garage, basement and 2 utility closets for owner use only.
TV Streaming Services: Our property is equipped with Smart TVs with various streaming apps for your entertainment. To ensure the best experience, please bring your own login credentials for services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. We do not provide guest accounts for these services. Thank you for understanding!
Other things to note
This is a NO parties and NO events property. We are family friendly but cannot allow large family parties. This is a Summit township requirement for short term rentals. Please contact us before booking if you need clarification on this. We have exterior cameras that record both video and audio.
NO smoking (this includes any and all kinds of smoking).
PET and CHILD safety:
Although we welcome small children and dogs (no cats, please, we have allergies), we do not have safety gates on the stairs. The home is not child proofed or pet proofed. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. We do not accept responsibility for injuries on the stairs or backyard play/swing set or any other injuries caused by or to a child and/or pet. Children and pets must be supervised at all times. Pets must be attended at all times inside and never left alone. Please keep dogs off the furniture and out of the bedrooms (2nd floor). Please clean up after them especially their lawn deposits. Dogs must be leashed when outside at all times for the safety of the dog, guest and neighboring pets. The road is busy. The pet liability waiver shown below applies when you book this property.
The access road is busy and we have large stones on the perimeter of the lawn meant to protect our lawn from road traffic. This does not present a problem entering or leaving the property if one stays on the driveway. Please use caution when entering and leaving the driveway. We will not accept responsibility for injuries due to the stones and/or road ways. The driveway is u-shaped and has enough space for 3-4 cars. Once in the driveway, you will not feel the busyness of the roadways much.
The home is on 2 acres with a large backyard. One neighbor's yard is on the other side of a backyard privacy fence. They are great neighbors, we ask that guests please respect their privacy and keep noise levels within reason.
HOUSE RULES: Quiet hours are 10pm-8am daily. The township has strict rules for short term rentals. No excessive noise, absolutely NO parties and no events. Guests violating these rules and/or causing problems/ creating a nuisance will be asked to leave without a refund. No locals and no under age 25 bookings. An adult 25 years or older must attend all guests under 25.
PET LIABILITY WAIVER:
By booking and staying at this property with a pet, you, the Guest, agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Responsibility: You assume full responsibility for any damage, injury, or loss caused by your pet during your stay.
2. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the property owner, host, and any affiliated parties from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your pet’s presence on the premises.
3. Supervision and Control: You agree to keep your pet under control at all times and ensure they do not cause a nuisance to other guests, neighbors, or property staff. You agree to clean up after your pet both inside and outside the house.
4. Damages and Additional Charges: You are responsible for any damage caused by your pet, and you authorize the host to charge for repairs, extra cleaning, or any additional costs resulting from your pet’s stay.
5. Health and Vaccination: You confirm that your pet is in good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and free of parasites.
6. Restricted Areas: You agree to respect any designated pet-free areas within the property as specified by the host. At Tranquil Vibes, this includes the 2nd floor bedrooms.
7. Noise and Disturbances: You will ensure your pet does not create excessive noise or disturbances that could affect the comfort of other guests or neighbors.
By bringing a pet onto the property, you acknowledge and accept these terms. Failure to comply may result in additional fees or termination of your stay without a refund.
