The space
This light-filled Spanish-Mission–style home was built in 1905 and thoughtfully updated to preserve its original character while adding modern comfort. Located in Seattle’s Westlake neighborhood, it’s within walking distance of South Lake Union, Fremont, Queen Anne, neighborhood parks, cafés, and restaurants. Frequent bus service and major bike routes are just across the street.

The rental includes the entire home, a front deck, and a private, fully fenced backyard with a tucked-away courtyard feel. A garage is available for off-street parking (or you can park in front of it). EV charging (level 1) is available in the garage.

Inside, the home features a light-filled living room with Smart TV, a separate dining room with seating for eight, and a well-equipped chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances, including a BlueStar range. The kitchen opens to the dining and living spaces and connects to the back courtyard via a mudroom.

There are three bedrooms: two with full beds and a quiet primary bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub with shower and door to the courtyard. A second full bathroom with tub/shower is located off the hallway along with laundry.

The fenced backyard has peek-a-boo views of Lake Union and is ideal for slow morning coffees and eating alfresco. The home also includes Wi-Fi, cotton linens and towels, basic toiletries, in-home laundry, and a selection of books, games, and puzzles - making it a comfortable, family-friendly place to settle in while exploring Seattle.

Note that Dexter Avenue is an arterial road, so some traffic noise may be heard from the street-facing bedroom and living room. As with many historic homes, you may notice charming quirks that come with the age of the house.

Super close to all of the Seattle tech headquarters, (Amazon, Gooogle, Meta). University of Washington is just 3 miles down the Burke Gilman trail. The corner deli just steps away is an excellent place to grab a sandwich and grocery essentials.
