We treat guests to a wonderful, relaxing stay in the country at Hope Springs Farm. With 175 acres to explore, gorgeous views, the sounds of nature, and many local attractions to visit, you will love our quiet country cottage. We also offer additional activities on our farms, including UTV tours, game bird hunts, and other types of small game guided hunts on 600+ acres. We love giving our guests a unique farm experience at Hope Springs and Fly-Over Valley!
The space
Our cottage is located on a quiet country road, in the middle of our 175 acre farm. It's surrounded by creeks and beautiful scenery. Inside, you'll find a relaxing, modern farmhouse atmosphere, without any distractions. Located in a secluded area, please keep in mind cell phone service is limited and we do not provide Wi-Fi, allowing you and your guests a screen-free, quiet retreat! We also offer many unique experiences on the farm as additional activities, plus additional areas that you can use if you need more space for sleeping or activities.
Guest access
While staying at our cottage, you'll be able to explore the farm as well. On the farm, you'll find bluffs, creeks, woods, fields, and our authentic 1900's barns we use for weddings!
PETS - We do allow pets at the cottage, but charge a special cleaning fee of $15 per day for up to two pets. Reservations with more than two pets must be discussed with owner for approval first and cleaning fee will be arranged based on number of pets and the type of pet. Pets will not be allowed on furniture and must be with you or kenneled if you leave the cottage. Pets love it on the farm, and as long as they are good listeners, no leashes are required. Please be aware that we do have cattle on the property. If you have a dog that might chase the cows, please bring a lease or a tie down for your dogs when visiting. We have a map available in the cottage of the property as well.
Other things to note
Please note, the upstairs bedroom with twin beds does not have electrical outlets and no vents for the heat & a/c. The heat rises great during the winter, but during the summer months, the upstairs doesn't get as cool as some would like. Also, there is very limited cell phone reception at our location. A phone is provided in the cottage, however, so you are able to make old fashioned phone calls if needed. ;) However, trying to access cellular signal from our location can be tricky. We do, however, have a signal booster onsite near the white building on the hill. Guests are welcome to walk the short distance to the building and may receive better signal. If you are in need of WiFi for work or emergency e-mails, you may contact me and I will bring my personal WiFi hotspot to you if it's an issue that can not wait. Otherwise, you can find free WiFi at Subway, in Hartville.
