This is a CAMPGROUND: NO RV OR ROOM OR BED INVOLVED - BRING A TENT AND GEAR TO BE COMFORTABLE (check my other listings for an RV stay). This a "want to camp" campground. If you "need to camp" due to financial or other reasons, Camp EZ will likely not be a good fit for you.

NO SMOKING INSIDE OR OUT FOR MANY REASONS! Tobacco users please look elsewhere. That being said:
The ad says East Congress but this is most definitely South Congress...

Community vibe 'round here; everyone expected to be respectful of one another and clean up after themselves "leave no trace" style. One week maximum stay.
Bring a tent and gear to be comfortable. 2 private hot outdoor showers, rustic kitchen and charming compost privy included. Wood fired sauna available. Visitors are expected to clean up after themselves especially in the kitchen, showers, restroom and, of course, your campsite. Trash and recycle containers are around or, better yet, pack it out!
I have a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens, 3 ducks and 7 sweet mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Hills Cafe and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking :)

Jim was a wonderful man. He opened up his doors graciously and even at one point went out of his way to allow us to use his moped. Quite a kind gesture for someone we knew for less than 48 hours. Our band would definitely recommend anyone willing to camp to camp at Camp EZ, and also anyone that isn't used to camping (URL HIDDEN) a good place for community. Thanks for everything, Jim.

Jim O' was great! The location was awesome. Everything had a very unique 'Austin' feel to it. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Jim O's exceeded my expectations. We arrived to a sweet and welcoming community of people. The camp sites are on a beautiful little chunk of land which maid our stay very natural, pleasant, and inviting. There were flash floods one afternoon and the creek flooded near our site. By the time my fiance and I returned to our site Jim O had committed a selfless act of kindness and had moved our entire camp to higher ground so our belongings didn't get ruined and float away. The outhouse was adorable and close to camp as well as the outdoor showers. I would recommend Camp EZ to anybody who loves the outdoors and a laid back experience.

I enjoyed staying at CampEZ. Jim O' is a really nice, peaceful, responsible guy. He welcomed me, showed me around, and suggested some spots to pitch my tent. He made himself available; kept the place clean, stocked, and tidy; and even provided free filtered water. The other guests were also really friendly, kind, and interesting. I enjoyed waking up in the mornings and going for hikes into the woods. The Wi-Fi was really fast. Taking the bus downtown was quick, easy, and affordable. Next to the bus stop, there's a carwash with a change machine in case you need quarters for the bus fare.

funky laid back South Austin alternative lifestyle. Developing my in town 2 acre 'farmette' on the creek. I've been in the food/catering biz for many years and enjoy people and gatherings. Hope to see you at one of our 2nd Wednesday community PotLuck parties!
