Interaction with Guests
We are always here to greet guests on arrival, answer any questions and help out with ideas and advice about the locality and town. The Studio is self-contained so guests can come and go through the secure gate access. We are in and out of our own home (just across the garden) on a daily basis so are usually around if anything further is required or just simply to stop and chat! I usually also have my phone with me so if you can't see me around the house then you can always send me a quick text or email if you need anything!
A great neighbourhood, quiet residential area with nearby shops, pubs etc and very easy access to Cheltenham town centre or out to the countryside.
Buses stop very nearby if you want to explore the town or surrounding countryside and villages by bus.
Please enjoy your stay!
This is a NO SMOKING studio apartment. Please do not smoke inside the studio. Thank you.
Please respect the accommodation and leave the studio space as you find it. Clean and tidy!
We will equip you with a gate key and door key to the studio when you arrive for the duration of your stay. Always check you have locked the door to your accommodation when you go out and ensure the gate is shut securely behind you each time you come and go.
Please feel free to sit out and enjoy the garden. The garden is used and enjoyed by us and our children, however, we will do our very best to respect your privacy during your stay.
We had a very comfortable stay in the garden appartment. We had everything we could have wanted, including plentiful breakfast choices. It was a lovely quiet location but walking distance to local amenities and perfect location for driving to Cotswold villages, walks and tourist attractions. Marianne made us feel very welcome. Thank you.
Perfect accommodation for our needs. We have two dogs - one of which is a German Shepherd!
Marianne saw that the garden studio had everything one could possibly need, both for the kitchen and the bathroom.
We were able to come and go independently, which with two dogs was a real bonus.
Highly recommend - it just a stone's throw from the city centre.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Marianne was lovely from start to finish- smooth check in, space exactly as pictured, and she even let us leave our bags to be picked up by a baggage transfer service as we were walking the Cotswold Way.
Bed is very comfortable and space is quite private. Highly recommend!
Marianne gave us such a warm welcome. All the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, chocolates, wonderful breakfast provisions, made the stay so much more special. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The location was perfect for exploring the Cotswold. Pubs, tea rooms and small supermarket within walking distance, though the cottage was very quiet. Can definitely recommend this cottage.
We stayed in Marianne’s lovely garden room for two nights. The room was faultless, clean, tidy and with all mod cons – en-suite shower, great mini-kitchen area, and two large sofas to lounge on when we arrived back late! Marianne had laid on some very nice touches – bowl of fruit, breakfast goodies – including bacon and eggs. Although not in the centre of Cheltenham, the location was ideal for us in Charlton Kings for a long walk into the country in the morning, and only a 25 minute walk into the centre. Although it is a private space we felt that Marianne was always around if we needed anything – but her planning is immaculate and we had everything we needed to hand. We felt very much at home there and will hopefully book again when we are back in Cheltenham.
What a fantastic place! Situated more or less in the centre of Cheltenham, this is the ideal place if you want to visit the town/races, within walking distance to bars and restaurants . Room was brilliant with bacon, eggs and orange juice on the side ready for the morning. Yes you are in the back garden, but you would have never realised; you are left to come and go as you please, with easy access without disturbing. Marianne is a great host! I will definitely be back the next time I am in Cheltenham!
