And the last, for your information, I don't live in that house. The host of Taman Mesari is Ibu Kopang with her family. She is a real Balinese, friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to ask for information or help when you stay in their house.
The accommodation is exactly as pictured and described. Its really quiet there considering how close the action on the main road is! Kopang and her family are friendly but non intrusive, and I would recommend anyone to stay here. Great value, room is large and bed is confortable. Hot showers are hit and miss but rarely needed due to humidity! Thank you Kopang!
Excellent stay! Great quiet location that is near the main town area, friendly and caring hosts, clean spacious bed and bathroom. Water takes a while to get warm but other than that, no complaints!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, nice clean, spacious rooms with lovely balcony to sip free tea and admire the lovely gardens! Great location and Hayley was very friendly and helpful!
Ubud was great and this guesthouse was great too. It's clean, spacious and we felt safe. Haley and her husband were very kind and helpful. It is located just a step away from all the action. There is a fridge right outside with water, soft drinks and beer. The environment is very calm and relaxing. Wifi connectivity is good. The only downside is the hot water is a bit irregular but it's not a big problem.
We will definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to Bali.
We decided to stay with Kopang because it would give us a chance to stay in Ubud without being caught up in the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. This was a very cozy, safe, and comfortable place to stay within walking distance of everywhere you would need to go in Ubud. Definitely would stay here again (and hopefully will!)
The guest house was exactly what we expected - very clean, great location on a quiet street yet only 5 min walk to the main road. Very nice hosts too! Coffee and tea are always available and a thermos with hot water as well. No drinking water in a dispenser though but wasn't a big deal for us.
Our room had a large bed with a bedside table and a lamp, table and a chair, large closet. There are also 2 chairs outside and a table. We loved the outdoor shower too. And the bean couch is so comfy to rest on the large porch after a day of exploring Ubud.
The water feature in the garden right in front of our porch was cool. Although the garden itself is going through a reno of some kind. No noise though, just not super pretty.
There are plenty of bike rentals in the area, a lot of warungs, a Guardian, Circle K and a couple of other convenience store. The laundry is available on the next street through a small alleyway - Kopang will show you where.
And upon our check out we got a small present from them - Taman Mesari inscents!
Definitely recommend staying there. We enjoyed our 7 days there very much! Thank you, Taman Mesari!
Kopang and her family were lovely, unintrusive but helpful. The room ( we had number 3) was awesome with a great bed, great shower, lovely big beanbag and working fan. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back.
What a great little place to stay. I stayed with my partner for a week and we loved it. Haley is a great host. The place is really clean, with unlimited supply of tea and coffee. Walking distance from the main Ubud Road in a quiet street. The house has got a fresh Ubud feel and is great for budget travelers . The temple in the house is very cute as well. Thanks Haley!
We had an awesome time staying with these ladies and their families! Really close to great food (Bali Buhda, Cafe Havana and endless warungs). Quiet, peaceful, clean and good location for a great price! Strong wifi and very reasonable motor bike rental on site as well. Definitely recommended to other travelers we have met along the way! Thanks for having us ladies we really enjoyed our stay with you! :)
This was a wonderful place to stay. It's located in a traditional Balinese home which has various rooms for various purposes, with a temple in the northeast corner. I had a great time!
