I can't imagine a more beautiful place to have woken up on my 40th birthday! The fresh Thai mangoes and coconut that Sky -- our lovely host -- shared upon our arrival the day before made for a perfect morning, as we watched the tropical rain fall over the mountains and nourish the lush gardens.
Everything about our stay was (save for it being too short) excellent. The house is spacious, clean, super well stocked and beautiful -- and it's centrally located between Kapa'a and Kilauea to easily much of the island.
Thank you!! We can't wait to come back!
We love this house and the property is gorgeous. Abundant fruit trees and gardens. Great mountain views.
Sky went out of her way to make our stay pleasurable.
We like to eat at home and the kitchen is fully stocked. Felt like home away from home.
Fantastic experience! I traveled all around Kauai and this place is perfectly located on, in my opinion, the most gorgeous side. The landscape isn't even shown in the photos and it too is a gem. Sky, the property caretaker, was fantastic and brought mangos and other fruits to the place. Incredible value, awesome feng shui in the house.. a true getaway experience.
Dear reader - whatever you do, don't stay at this place...
It's mine and I want it completely to myself, only kidding, the place is amazing. My wife and I stayed here for 4 days and feel in love. It allowed us to let go of our busy world back home and ease into the Hawaiian concept of Aloha. The spot and people living there are magical. There was nothing like waking up and having fresh fruit or coconut water from right there in the back yard.
Here are the practical things - Eric is a great host. He is vigilant about how he built and designed both the house you stay in and the grounds and property. His loving care resulted in a beautiful space and lovely presence. The pictures are accurate to the space. We did see rainbows over the mountains from our balcony.
Eric genuinely cares about your experience and takes efforts to make sure your needs are met. It is so easy to let go and unplug with an amazing balcony to sit and either enjoy a book, meditate, or look at the beautiful views of the hills of Anahola. If you are not ready to unplug, all the needed amenities are available. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and has ample space to maneuver.
The location is a little odd - it is right off the highway in the nondescript town of Anahola. Upon initial judgement, I thought it was strange that I was coming to this place in Hawaii for my first visit, but in hindsight, it was great to be removed from the tourist/commercial zone. All that was very close and within a 10-20 minute drive. In the end, I found the location to be good for both excursions on the North shore and on the East side. We took trips North to Kilauea and did a daily coffee/breakfast run to Kapaa. Beaches are close and day trips are easy. We found that we did not want to leave the house much and spent hours just hanging out on the property.
We left this place and headed to another AirBnB in Princeville and regretted leaving this magical place. The next place was nice too, but the nothing could match the experience and feeling of being at Eric's place. I hope you too can find some peace in this spot and keep it magical.
Incredible place to spend the last leg of our honeymoon. As first-time visitors to Kauai, my wife and I explored all parts of the island. This home had a perfect location for traveling up to the north shore and down to the south. With amenities abound, it also had everything we needed to be refreshed an rejuvenated after long days out on the island. As others have said, the views from the wrap-around lanai are stunning.
Eric, the owner, is a wonderful host who was full of recommendations about places all over the island and gave us a wonderful tutorial on all the edible fruits on his property. Thanks again Eric, we will most definitely be back!
We have just spent 10 amazing nights in Kauai staying at the Stylin' Romantic House. The pictures definitely do not do the place justice. It is a huge space and fantastically maintained.
It is fully kitted out with everything you might need during your stay and is set in incredibly beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Even though it is secluded, the location in Anahola is perfect to use as a base for exploring both the north and south of the island - we personally much preferred the green north.
Loads of beaches are within easy driving
distance and great restaurant options within a 20 min drive too.
Eric was a great host and was on hand whenever we had any questions but left us to it when we didn't. Special shout out also to next door neighbour See (probably wrong spelling sorry!) who offers a great massage service and like Eric was also very knowledgable about the island and a great help to us.
If we are ever back in Kauai (and we hope we will be!) a return visit to Stylin' will definitely be our first choice! Thanks Eric! Aloha!

This was a perfect place to stay for our honeymoon! The views are incredible, the kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need, and the fruit trees on the property make the stay one of a kind. The location of the house is ideal, as it's secluded enough while still being close to the bigger towns on the North shore, and not too far a drive to the South. We had a wonderful time, Eric was a great host, and we definitely won't forget our week here!
