Experience the ultimate Vermont retreat in our newly renovated second-story guest space nestled in a charming barn, offering breathtaking easterly views of the Green Mountain range, including the majestic Camels Hump and Bolton peaks. This hilltop cabin is cocooned by lush trees and verdant pastures, providing an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Kayak, swim or paddleboard on nearby Lake Iroquois 2 miles away or Lake Champlain 9 miles away.

The space
As soon as you step inside, this cozy cabin welcomes you with its warm embrace. With 700 square feet of wide pine antique floors and floor-to-ceiling cypress walls crowned by cathedral ceilings, you'll immediately be immersed in the quintessential Vermont mountain ambiance. Handcrafted furniture pieces throughout the studio space add a unique, personal touch and a sense of beauty that's truly one of a kind. The gas fireplace adds a soft glow and warmth to those chilly fall and winter days.

Begin your day by savoring the sunrise right from the comfort of your bed, simply raise the remote-controlled Roman shades to reveal the awe-inspiring vistas that stretch before you. Enjoy your morning coffee on the expansive 30 x 10 deck or indulge in some stargazing at night while soaking in the hot tub. For those cozy nights in, a 60” screen and projector offer the perfect setup for watching movies from the comfort of your bed.

Other things to note
Conveniently located only 9 miles from the vibrant city of Burlington, Vermont, you'll have easy access to the city's attractions and the international airport for all your transportation needs.

For outdoor enthusiasts, some of Vermont's finest mountain biking trails, ski areas, and hiking trails are close by. If you have a penchant for craft beer, you're in luck, as there are over 15 breweries within a 15-mile radius. And if you simply wish to unwind, take a leisurely walk on the 13 acres of pristine surroundings where you might spot deer, turkeys, and an abundance of wildlife.

**During winter months it is essential that you have AWD or 4x4 and winter tires. This studio is located 1/2 mile on fairly steep grade dirt road well maintained but can be tricky in snowfall. No two-wheel drive cars please.

** Note: we have 3 friendly lab dogs in the adjacent property. Jovi, a sweet older chocolate, is able to roam freely. Mookie and Rona (yellow siblings) have wireless fence collars and will remain within our home boundaries. There are also 2 friendly cats who roam freely (Birdie and Theo). Please let us know in advance if you require any special accommodations relating to these neighboring pooches & kitties.
