We had a wonderful 2 day stay in Livio's beautiful apartment. It was very well furnished and equipped. Just metres away from the seaside was a lovely naturally occurring pool surrounded by larval rocks.
The views from the apartment's balcony are amazing with beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
It is only a short walk to the village where we had breakfast and supper each of the 2 nights that we were there. The food each time was of a very good standard.
Livid was very helpful, kind and an wonderful host.I highly recommend a visit to His apartment.
I can only reiterate what other reviewers have said. The apartment is easy to find, beautifully located, with everything that you could need for your stay including private parking. It is comfortable and generous in size for a couple. The swimming 'hole' outside the apartment is great but you do need to be a reasonably confident swimmer to be at ease swimming there and reasonably fit to climb out! Livio was organised, helpful and went out of his way to make our stay a pleasant one. The village of Stazzo is very tranquil and has an authentic Italian feel to it I recommend it if you want a restful break from the norm. Breakfast or brunch at the sleepy harbour is also recommended. Definitely make a trip to Mount Etna part of your visit as it is easily reached by car and the Greek Theatre in Taormina is worth a trip even though it is overly touristic...
What an experience of Sicily- it was our first trip away with our little girl out of the UK and we loved it.
Very safe neighbourhood with everything you need from shops to restaurants. Views off the balcony are beautiful. The lava beach is not for toddlers as its a bit hazardous is places, but our daughter isn't a big water fan, anyway. However, my fiancee swam every morning in the beautiful sea in the coves with some little fish and nature to be seen.
Everything you need in the flat for a self-catering experience. Marble floors keep the place cool. Kitchen is a great for stay-in evenings. Bed is very comfy and big enough wardrobes for the 3 of us.
Livio is a lovely person, very friendly and accessible.
In conclusion, a lovely picturesque area. A well-equipped, comfortable flat. A lovely host. Nice!
The apartment was great to stay in and the location by the sea is incredible.
Livio is a great host and very helpful with anything.
We had a great time staying there and in Sicily.
One advice is that you need a car because it is a bit off the beaten track, but we only found this charming.
