Interaction with Guests
Early 30's female working in the hospitality/tourism industry. I am a native New Yorker and can provide with all the information you need about NYC and its surrounding areas. I speak french, spanish and arabic so communication is never an issue. I am very social and enjoy cooking, traveling and meeting new people. I am always available to help you in anyway I can.
The greatest feature of the apartment aside from its pristine condition is its location. It lies in prime Lower East Side/Chinatown territory, known for its diverse community, vibrant nightlife and artistic sensibility. You can shop vintage designer looks at Tokio 7 and Cadillac's Castle. You are steps away from excellent restaurants and bars including Fat Radish, Beauty & Essex, Les Enfants Terribles, 'inoteca, Clinton Street Bakery and loads of excellent Chinese food.
There are many cute cafes and art gallerys just downstairs. There is also a 24 hour supermarket and pharmacy just a few blocks away.

Thanks a lot Eric for the warm welcome.
Out stay was fabulous, and in one of the best lace in Manhattan : loads of nice restuarants, art galleries, fashion, music and so on.
We discovered New York during our stay and Eric was always helpfull to give us good places to go and visit.
We will come back for sure !
We really had a great time in New York ! The apartment is ideally located. Eric showed us around a couple of really nice restaurant/bars that we really enjoyed as well.
We were three people which was a bit too much for the size of the rooms but we barely stayed at the apartment anyway so it was fine.
Thanks again Eric!
Eric was a very nice host and helped us with parking when we arrived. Clean space exactly as pictured. Overall great first experience with airbnb!
Our stay at Laila and Eric's House has been Just great! The room is Very cozy and clean. Having a total bathroom for us has been a plus. The Flat is in a nice neighborhood, Very fancy and full of art galleries, bars and cafes. The position is simply great! What's more, all ny's main attractions are 10 min by delanceay station.
This is a cozy pad located in/near Chinatown; perfect if you love Chinese food. The nearest subway stations were also only a ~5minute walk away, and the home is also near the river and Brooklyn. As for the room, it was large enough to fit the 3 of us and our belongings and the bathroom was perfect and as pictured. They provide fridge space for food and drink and also had a humidifier and AC in the room, which did tend to get hot.
Eric was friendly, hospitable, and helpful as he gave us recommendations on events happening nearby as well as locations that may be overlooked during a trip. He also is available to answer any questions you may have regarding the room or recommendations.
Overall the place had a chill vibe and is perfect for a short stay. We would definitely come again. While the location is not in central Manhattan, this place is still convenient, safe, and accessible to all areas which provided versatility in our plans during our trip.
My fiancé and I had a lovely stay in NYC at Laila and Eric. They weren't there but they made sure that we felt like home. We exchanged a lot of texts messages with Laila who recommended us good restaurants and other shops in the neighborhood. If we had any queries Laila was really reactive and was always taking the time to help us. The flat and the room was as described and very clean. The flat is really close to 2 metro stations, thus it was relatively easy to commute around NYC. Moreover from the flat you can go to Chinatown and little Italy by foot ! The street nearby is charming and hosts lot of restaurants, bars and art gallery! Only cons the Internet is very slow and the room really warm.
Thank you for your kind review Jordan!
It's been a pleasure hosting you, and we would do it again in a heartbeat.
Sorry about the internet, it's actually very fast normally but needed to be rebooted, and since you didn't tell me about it being slow I wasn't able to help you reboot it so it would return to normal.
It's also been very cold here, and because of the cold temperatures we've kept the heat on rather than need to turn it off and on again.
I hope to hear from you in the future and have you stay with us again!
We arrived New York over 12 am and picked the key at the place where Laila had already told me. I talked with her on my way to New York, but I did not let her know that I arrived the apartment since it was late time around 1 am. Even if it was late time, Laila checked on us and explained everything I need during staying there. I was so impressed that she was well organized. I stayed there for 2 days, and even during the day time, Laila texted me to make sure that I am enjoying the New York trip. Also, the apartment is clean and exactly same with the photos she posted. In many cases, photos are much better than the real place so actually I did not expect that the apartment will be cute just as the photos. If I visit to New York again, I would like to stay there again.
