Villa Tranquila is a home of historical beauty. With stained glass windows, original interior artwork and spectacular grounds, this luxurious home is a vacation destination all in itself. If you're looking for elegance, privacy and convenience of location, there is no need to look further.
Interior: Approximately 3,000 square feet
Downstairs: The living room features a large river rock fireplace, comfortable seating arrangements and a large flat screen TV. Numerous windows and doors look out to the backyard; gracious archways lead to a hallway on one side and the dining room on the other. The mahogany dining set seats 12 guests. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's delight, complete with stainless appliances that include a six burner Dacor professional gas stove, a griddle and two ovens. Off the kitchen is a sunny breakfast nook. Through the breakfast nook and past the quaint side entrance is the master suite and the other downstairs bedroom. The master suite is spacious with a fireplace, King bed, an entertainment system with a flat screen television and French doors leading to the back deck. Off the master bedroom is the master bath, featuring a double vanity and a dual-head walk-in shower. The master bathroom features a door leading to the hallway, so it can be easily shared with the occupants of the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a King bed and a Double futon. There is an additional half bathroom (toilet and sink) off the same hallway.
Upstairs: Stairs from the front hall lead to the upper level that offers 3 more bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The room at the end of the hall features a King bed and a flat screen TV. The second upstairs room offers a Queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 Twin beds. All 3 bedrooms are filled with natural light and provide gorgeous views from the windows. The full bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub.
Exterior: Over 1/2 acre of gated grounds
Gated, landscaped grounds surround Villa Tranquila. The front circular driveway winds between a lovely garden, lawn and the front entrance. The backyard is a tree-lined hideaway, with views of forested hills in the distance. The backyard consists of a large, in-deck 6 person spa, dining patio with a state-of-the-art barbecue and smoker, chaise lounge chairs, decks, large lawn and woodsy lower area with a fire pit. Villa Tranquila is located at the top of “The Hill” in a quiet, scenic neighborhood. It's only a ten minute walk down to Guerneville's shopping, dining, nightlife and the Russian River.

Interaction with guests
Guests will be sent detailed check in instructions prior to arrival. Keys for Villa Tranquila can be picked up from our office lock box any time after 4pm. Our office is open until 5pm each day. We are happy to help in any way we can to make your stay more enjoyable! There is an emergency line available to guests after office hours.

-Two night minimum October to Memorial Day Weekend (holidays have a higher night minimum)
-Three night minimum Memorial Day Weekend through late June, and September
-Five night minimum end of June through August, expect week minimum over the July 4th Holiday and the first week of August.
-Major holidays including Thanksgiving, Winter Break and President's Day may have a longer night minimum.
Reservations not adhering to these night minimums will not be accepted.
VACATION RENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION PLAN: There is a $49 non-refundable Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan fee for all reservations, already included in the cleaning fee. In order to activate the vacation rental damage protection plan included in your rental fees, please provide your billing address, phone number, & email address in the note with your reservation. If this is an issue, please contact us before making a reservation.
The maximum number of people allowed on the property is 12. Exceptions can be made for children under 3. In general, two additional day guests maybe allowed at no extra cost, as long as Russian River Vacation Homes has given guest prior written approval. This home does not have a permit for parties, large gatherings, or events.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.
PARKING: On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 5 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.
-After making a booking and providing their contact information, guests will be sent a contract with our terms in detail to sign and return.
-No same-day reservations past 2pm. Our office closes at 5pm. It should not happen, but in case the system is allowing you to book for same-day arrival and it is after 2pm, please reach out to us before completing your reservation. If it is after 5pm, please do not complete your reservation; no one will be available to process your reservation and prepare for your arrival.
-We adhere to the above night minimums. If your reservation seems to go through for less than the stated night minimums, or if the availability seem too good to be true, be aware that the system may be experiencing an integration issue and your reservation may not be accepted. Again, if you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Check in is at 4pm for all of our Homes. Check out for Villa Tranquila is 11:00am. Guaranteed paid Early Check ins and Check outs are sometimes possible during our off-season. Non Paid Early Check ins are occasionally a possibility if the home has been released by the inspector ahead of schedule. If you are interested in a non paid early check in, please contact our office on the morning of your arrival date to check the inspector's schedule. Non paid late check outs are very rarely available.
DOGS: This home is dog friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. Additional dogs or pets of any other kind are not permitted. Unattended dogs must be crated. Please specify at the time of reservation how many dogs are in your group, and their breeds.
