The Space

Your private room, with bathroom is located in a beautiful rural sanctuary space which is also home to my studio where I teach weekly yoga classes & restorative yoga workshops.

Whether you are looking for an active holiday or a time of rest & renewal, all is within close reach and best if you have transport to avail of all that is on offer.

Your day might consist of strolling along country roads, hiking the Galtee Mountains or a day on horseback, trekking with Ballyhoura Horse Trails.

The largest standing stone circle in Ireland, Grange, is about 10 miles from me with beautiful walks around the neighboring lake, Lough Gur.

Glenstal Abbey is also very near where you can stroll around the beautiful grounds and partake of evening Vespers (Gregorian Chant).

Possibly returning home to an evening of restorative yoga to relax and unwind after your day of activities & adventures.

If your visit coincides with one of my weekly classes and space allows, you are very welcome to join in.
Fall/Autumn Yoga Classes; Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Please contact me for details.

Some of the many daytrips include Bunratty Castle & Folk Park; The Rock of Cashel; The Burren and The Cliffs of Moher, to name just a few.

  • My husband & I are taking a journey through Ireland to celebrate our first anniversary. This was our second stop along the way. The combination of thought-provoking conversation, lovely grounds and quietness; this was a great stop on our journey. We had a little trouble finding the place, but a fab neighbor led us to Breeda's door & the pub in Pallas Green was fabulous.
It would have been perfect if the wifi was working, however Breeda was having problems with the wifi.
    It was a great stay!

    Response from Breeda:

I too enjoyed our conversations and always love sharing life journey experiences and curiosity's, especially over morning coffee.
You will be delighted to know that my wifi problem is now sorted and apologies for any inconvenience it might have caused... Happy Trails :-)

Kripalu Yoga Teacher
In the late 90’s whilst living in New York City I went on my first hiking tour with Carol & Dick of Timberline Tours into the Grand Canyon. What an amazing experience and also the beginning of a long journey home to Ireland. At the time I was working in the computer industry as a project manager in the IT department of a large law firm in the Wall Street area (now that's a mouthful). One of the partners asked if I would be checking my messages whilst on holiday and when I found myself looking for a phone in Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, I knew something in my life needed to change.... Around the same time I moved from Manhattan into a Brownstone garden apartment on Clinton Avenue in Brooklyn, NY., my very favorite part of New York City. In my garden I planted flowers and came to realize some years later that I also planted the seeds to my new life...... I quit my job in early 2000. My plan was to take 3 months off work to relax and contemplate my life. At the time I had been taking weekly classes at a local yoga studio so naturally I did more yoga and then I found myself at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health where I did a yoga teacher training just so that I could do yoga every day all day for 30 days. As a friend once said ‘one thing borrowed another’ and here I am back home in Ireland, teaching yoga, growing organic vegetables with a plan to being self sustainable. Before returning to Ireland in 2004, I became somewhat of a gypsy traveling the United States from East to West in my Toyota Camry Wagon. I spent time in Santa Fe, NM; Sebastapol, CA; Tyringham, MA, Sedona, AZ to name but a few. What a vast magnificent country the United States of America is.... I travel back to my other home as often as time and money will allow and that is how I first found airbnb. Whilst visiting New York in August 2012, I stayed with an airbnb host right across from my old home on Clinton Avenue. It was such a wonderful experience that I decided from now on, airbnb is the only way to travel. I do hope you will come for a visit and stay for a while. Blessings & Love, Breeda
