Keep the door code to yourself
When you are ready to leave the condo at the end of your stay, simply leave the keys on the counter and lock the door using the touch pad again. All you have to do is touch the logo Schlage and the door will lock automatically.
The room that you will be staying in is upstairs. Access to the back bedroom is forbidden.
It's located in the building directly across. You will need the keys. There's a main door down the steps to the right (you'll some red benches and a large scale model of the building on display. Use the sensor to open this door. Once inside, just beside the mail boxes, there's a garbage chute.
Feel free to use the washer and dryer if you need. At the end of your stay, put any towels or linens in the washer.
There are few items that we'd ask you not to put in the dishwasher:
-Any pots or pans
Dishes with the flower pattern (these are antique, we're afraid they will break in there!)
Dishwashing soap is located under the sink.
A/C + HEATING
If you leave the condo for extended amounts of time, we'd ask if you would turn off any A/C or heating. There is a white remote control to adjust the A/C.
Help yourself to whatever food is in the fridge and pantry. We keep our teas & coffee on the blue rolling cart, dry goods in the middle shelves. Help yourself to the alcohol, but please replace what you drink (the Atwater SAQ has huge selection)
David was very quick to respond and it was very easy to access the loft. The place was very well located and as expected. Clean and bright, nice plush towels. Highly recommended.
David was a great host and was available by text/phone at any time. This modern apartment, which could be taken out of an interior design magazine, was exactly what we expected if not more. The subway was a convenient few blocks away, and the area surrounding the apartment felt safe. We really enjoyed our trip, and will especially remember coming back to this comfortable place of refuge each night.
My husband and I stayed 6 days in David & Le's serene apartment. It was very clean spacious and illuminated with abundant natural light. A minimalist, I was comfortable in the architectural simplicity of the space furnishings and decor. The loft apartment is in a converted cigarette factory with new furnishings and well-appointed kitchen with quality appliances, utensils and everything needed to prepare meals. The building complex was secure and neighborhood safe.
Excellent wi-fi but no television, radio, sound system which wasn't a problem since we streamed movies, music, news programs, (website hidden), etc with no problem. Lush towels, comfy bed, closet space, nice bathroom.
A 10-minute walk to metro, 4 stops to city center, short walk to restaurants, cafes, grocery, liquor/wine stores. A gastronomic delight is nearby market with farm fresh fruits vegetables fish meats breads cheeses sweets eatery etc. -- market backs onto a canal we walked along to the Old Town.
Sometimes a holiday apartment is just a place to sleep at night, this apartment is an experience in itself and was a significant part of enjoying our holiday experience. David was an excellent host -- attentive and always responded promptly. We highly recommend. Thank you David + Le!
This loft is a great place to stay in Montréal. It is not so central, but nice if you want to discover upcoming neighbourhoods such as St Denis. The cherry on the cake of this well designed apartment is the roof terrace with small pool, wifi and barbecue facilities. With good weather is was the perfect hang out with great views on the montréal skyline. David isn't around but very quick in answering any question I asked.
David + Le were extremely communicative and accommodating hosts and their space is so lovely. Everything was easy and smooth from getting into the loft on day one to leaving our last day. This loft and our hosts truly made our vacation everything we could have wanted and more. I highly recommended David + Le's place for any kind of trip that might bring you to this charming city!
Both David and the Apartment are fantastic. The apartment is beautifully decorated, perfectly maintained, and well laid out. The location in the city is also excellent.
David was very responsive, easy going, and had lots of useful information about Montreal (the restaurants he recommended during our stay were excellent). Overall, a wonderful experience.
Thank you to David and Nguyen, perfect and very generous hosts. We had a great time in their loft/flat which suited perfectly our desires of space and light with a touch of true class regarding decoration and attentions to the guests.
Very well situated, the underground is at 5 minutes, Atwater market, canal Lachine easily reachable by foot, we warmly recommend this urban experience in the heart of le quartier Saint-Henri to everyone wanting to visit Montreal.
I'm David, a native San Franciscan where I currently live and work. I'm doing biz dev for a tech company in the Bay area while also volunteering for philanthropic organizations.
You can also find me flying to Montreal on the regular to be with my lovely girl, Le who's studying design while she works as a freelance photographer and writer. (yes, it's long distance love!)
We just finished building our first home together here in Montreal -- and we hope you enjoy the space while you stay here. Hit us up with any questions you may have, from great restaurants to eat at, bars to check out, or spots to see. We'd be happy to help.
