The Mill House is such an incredible place! My husband and I booked the house as a meeting place with 2 other couples for a get together with some old friends. Traveling in the winter, we knew we weren't going to be seeing the sights too much, but instead staying cozy inside by the fireplace all day. The house was a bit chilly but fireplaces on 2 floors really helped warm the rooms and create a snuggly ambiance. Every floor and every room really took our breath away. Trey has decorated the space with tons of antiques and personal details that really make you feel welcome. The kitchen and dining room were some of our favorite areas to spend time in. We loved the design of the space as much as we possibly could and working with Trey and Barb was incredibly easy. This was our first trip to Buck's County as a group. We absolutely plan on returning and renting from Trey again. This place was just perfect! Thank you so much for your hospitality and generosity.
We chose this home for our family holiday gathering for its location and charm factor.
We had no idea it would turn out to be an even more delightful experience than we could have anticipated!
The rushing creek just behind was a treat.
The bedrooms were all well appointed and very comfortable.
The living room huge roaring fireplaces made for the coziest of evenings together as a family. The chef's kitchen was perfect and the dining room a masterpiece!
If your plans take you to this magnificent and historic area of Pennsylvania, you couldn't possibly do better than to rent this beautiful home for your visit! Historic Carversville and New Hope are nearby and offer exceptional dining if a night out is on the agenda.
Thank you Trey for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it!
Delightful, enchanting, stunning - the Mill House is everything you see in the photos and so much more. Trey and the lovely Barbara took great care making sure we were right at home. The location is exquisite and thanks to Trey's recommendation our trip included a visit to Bowman's Tower and the wildflower preserve - lovely. If your plans include a visit to the Bucks County area, don't stay anyplace else. If your plans don't include Bucks County, change your plans.
The Mill House is an absolutely gorgeous home in stunning surroundings-- the pictures look amazing, but honestly, they don't even do it justice. Trey is a wonderful, helpful and responsive host, and we had an absolutely perfect weekend there. We can't wait to come back!
We LOVED our stay at Trey's Mill House in Bucks County. This is a truly special place, imbued with history, grace and golden light. The gardens are magnificent, the location is perfect: quiet and private, but close to great restaurants, galleries and shopping districts of charming Delaware River towns. The house itself is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is a dream--everything you need for preparing a gourmet meal. My husband biked the scenic roads on both sides of the river, we walked on the towpath and Fleecydale down to Lumberville for lunch, but we spent late afternoons on the deck, sipping chilled wine and savoring the fragrant breeze and the sounds of the babbling creek below. We will definitely return!
An amazing house in an amazing location. Every corner you look in is artistically designed. The garden is wonderful and the house overlooks a creek. A great kitchen cook in too. Both the den and the dining room have large fire places. I'd definitely stay again.
We're seasoned AirBnBers and this was the absolute best place we have ever rented. The house is just knock-out beautiful. Gorgeous and unique details everywhere you look. Trey was generous enough to allow us to have a dinner party for our family there. Everyone was fascinated by the beautiful environment both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a large meal. Trey went beyond by preparing the two fireplaces so all we needed was to light them. Everything was ample and beautiful. Such a unique and cozy place to stay. We want to come back in the spring to see the gardens in bloom.
Simply the best.
