The Space

Special Note: I will be away from Dec. 13-31, 2013 and Jan. 17-July 31, 2014. You can book the entire apartment under my other listing: "Entire Loft in the Fashion District."

Located in the heart of the Fashion District of downtown Toronto, this one-bedroom loft is close to Queen West, Chinatown, Kensington Market, and the Entertainment District. Also within walking distance are the CN tower, City Hall, and the Eaton Centre.

Access to public transit (Spadina and Queen streetcar lines).

Ensuite laundry is included as well as fitness room and sauna (access via spiral staircase in the lobby). The kitchen is stocked with cookware and there are several grocery stores in the neighbourhood.

It is a one-bedroom unit, therefore, at night I sleep on the sofa in the living room. You will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with me. I'm super easygoing. Have fun and stay out as late as you like.

Most of the artwork in the apartment are done by me and prints are available for purchase. Furniture and decor are mostly either family heirlooms or objects I have acquired from antique markets and kijiji.

  • I absolutely loved staying at Christina's place. It was beautiful and bright and modern but still cozy. Christina was out of town at the time of my stay, but left very clear instructions and was available on mobile. Her flat has a great location for anything you would want to do in downtown Toronto (Chinatown, Entertainment district, etc); it's all a short walk away. There is even access to a rooftop terrace that has an amazing view of the city! The only minor drawback was that I had a trouble finding a spot with the limited visitor parking. However, both Christina and the concierge were very helpful with this. I would definitely like to stay again sometime.

  • I would definitely stay at Christina's place again. Her apartment is bright, eclectic and fun, curated with her creative works, and she keeps it really clean. She's well located in general, and super close to public transit if you're trying to get out of the city's heart. Christina cares about the details, is kind and easy going. I arrived early and she adapted without pause. I also enjoyed talking with Christina. She's very open and has interesting ideas and opinions and is thoughtful. Highest ratings from me!

  • The price was affordable, the location was perfect and her demeanor as a host was above and beyond. She provided me a towel, comfortable bed, access to her gym and was patient as I used her kitchen! I couldn't have asked for more. Above all, we hung out together and had a great time!

This was my first AirBnB experience. To be honest, I was apprehensive about the whole thing, until I came across her listing. She was reliable and responsive.

She made my first experience incredible and I will continue to consult AirBnB for future lodging!

  • Christina was an excellent host! She was very friendly and gave us good advice about paces to eat and look at. Her apartment is very cute and the room is lovely, and it's in a great location! Really close to public transport, with lots to check out within walking distance. Would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Toronto.
