This was a wonderful place to stay in Vernazza! Anna's son Lucca met us at the train station the evening we arrived, and easily carried our suitcases up the stairs to the apartment, and then up the stairs to the room. He showed us everything we needed to know. We never met Anna, sadly, as we had looked forward to meeting her after reading the other reviews. But that did not affect our stay here, which was great! The room and bathroom were extremely clean and well set up. The bed was comfortable. We didn't get to use the balcony, unfortunately, as we were here in late March and the winds were brisk and temperatures chilly. But we were toasty warm and comfortable. The location of Anna and Lucca's place is great, very quiet but just a short walk from everything. We absolutely loved Vernazza and the whole of the Cinque Terre. After a day of hiking and exploring, we were very happy to return to our cozy room. We would definitely stay here again!
Thank you Anna and Lucca.
Anna was very nice. She met us at the train station even when we arrived an hour early. Room was small, but quiet and relaxing after a long day of hiking. On the top floor of its building with a nice view of the city.
Our experience was pleasant; the room is adequate and cozy, and incredibly close to the railway station at Vernazza. It is a 3 minute walk from the square at Vernazza, and in front of a local hotspot - Blue Marlin, which serves eggs for breakfast!
Anna and Luca were kind and prompt.
Anna was a wonderfully thoughtful host who provided a number of extra touches to the room to make it super comfortable, including matches & a candle after the whole town lost electricity. The room was very attractive and pleasing to spend time in and the little terrace was a delight. Our room was filled with the lovely sounds of Vernazza: Ocean waves, church bells, birds, and, during our stay, thunder & lightening from a magnificent storm. We slept well on the good bed and enjoyed being right in the center of Vernazza, high up enough to get lots of light, but not so many stairs that we avoided going back and forth to the room. If you visit Vernazza, be sure to go to Il Pirata Cafe and Trattoria da Piva.
My wife and I will join the legions of Anna fans here on Airbnb. Anna was incredibly responsive, and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Our room was as near perfection as possible. The only downside is the lack of wifi. That aside, staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy thus far. We would return to Anna's in a heartbeat.
Thank you Anna!
Anna's place was a great place to stay in Vernazza - literally just off the main square and minutes from the sea and the hiking trail to Monterosso. It was very spacious and clean. Anna was a great host; she met us at the train station to walk us to the room. Although the place does not have wifi and is up a number of stairs, I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Vernazza.
Our stay in Vernazza was lovely Anna was a great host and was there to meet us at the train station when we arrived. The room was everything we wanted and included a fridge and tea and coffee which was much appreciated after a long day walking Cinque Terre. The beds were comfy the bathroom very clean and nice hot shower. I would recommend this room to my friends and family and would definitely stay with Anna in Vernazza again. Thanks Anna!
Lovely place, right in the heart of Vernazza.
Anna comes to greet you at the station, walking you to the front door.
The place is roomy, has all the mod cons (except Wi Fi) and a nice bed.
The host is fantastic, after informing Anna of my girlfriend's bday, Anna provided a little gift that was very thoughtful and considerate.
Definitely recommend to others
Anna is a lovely and nice lady who picked us up from the train station and brought us to the apartment which was very clean. The best thing is, that you don't have to climb up too many stairs ;) One thing you might be interested in and is absolutely not meant in a negative way but just an info, is that the mattress is quite soft and I had a hard times due to my herniated disc.
Vernazza itself is amazing and according to our opinion the best place to stay in Cinque Terre. Thanks a lot for your hospitality, we can highly recommend the apartment for everyone.
Though the listing did not show images of the room, it was very nice and breezy. After a good few hot days in Italy and a few weeks more for my girlfriend, it was great to have a clothesline out the window to do some laundry. Anna met us at the train station since we did not have an international phone and showed us to our room. She contributed to the overall hospitality that Vernazza and the Cinque Terra provides foreigners. Thank you Anna!
