  • Haike is a perfectionist, and this apartment in the lush and lovely old northeast (the best neighborhood in the old northeast) is perfect! She's thought of everything. The place is ridiculously clean and comfortable, plus there are many little touches that make it feel like home. I read about the neighbors downstairs, whom I only heard once or twice in the afternoon. The area is very quiet, and the neighbors are very considerate, plus there are thick carpets throughout that provide extra insulation. I don't want to recommend Haike's apartment, because it will soon be impossible to book a week.
If you want to be directly on the gulf, then this is not the place for you. However, beach lovers should know that gorgeous Tampa Bay is only a few blocks east, where I watched dolphins diving just a few yards off shore, along with all kinds of exotic birds. Right in downtown St Pete!
I have stayed all over St Pete, including the old northeast, and I have never had a better experience. Wish I were back there right now! Hope to return to Haike's jewel of an apartment in early spring.

that so much for all your kind words.
I hope you come back soon.
Hugs and merry Christmas from St. Pete

  • Haike's apartment was a wonderful place for my husband and myself during a recent family gathering in St. Pete. The location is perfect: in a quiet neighborhood convenient to downtown. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Haike is very kind and hospitable, the ideal hostess if you are visiting St. Pete. We were only there four nights but the apartment would be very comfortable for an extended stay. We hope to return next year!

  • Haike's place was great and she was a great host! Clean, functional space in a charming neighborhood conveniently located in the heart of St. Pete. Haike went out of her way to make sure that I had everything that I needed. I would absolutely stay there again in a heartbeat! 5 stars across the board. Thanks Haike!

Thanks so much Reinhild! Hope to see you again in St. Pete!

  • Absolutely perfect! If you want to go to St Petersburg and actually do something other than spend all day at a beach this is THE PLACE! There is a small beach next to a wonderful community pool about half a mile from the apt. If you like to exercise, there are great paths that run along the water too. The apartment is also in a great neighborhood. You will see people out running, walking dogs, or just enjoying their neighborhood. Because you are so close to downtown, there are tons of restaurants to choose from. Just park your car and walk up Central Avenue and you will find just about anything you could want. If you don't feel like going out, there is a great kitchen in the apt.
The only negative I found, the walls were a bit thin. But you just have to remember this was one house first that was made into two apartments. In my opinion, the thin walls didn't matter, because we weren't there to sit inside. And if my 7 month old didn't have a problem, most adults should be fine. After all, we did stay two extra days!
Overall, this was the perfect place for our last minute family vacation! Thanks Haike!!!

    Thank you so much Molly!

It is peaceful and quiet. A small creek winds by the house and there are meadows, fields and woods close by, as well as a beautiful mideaval town called Celle.
