Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Kilowatt Park North and South are right across the street and have ample space for walking along the river and through the woods. There is a picnic area, boat launch, dog park, dog beach, and lots of green space. Another popular hiking spot called the Hazen trail is about a half mile away. There is also a bike path across the street leading to a playground a little over a mile away. The local bus stop is also about a block away. This location is the perfect spot to take a relaxing stroll after a long day of work or a busy day of traveling, or settle into your space for a quiet night in.

I have a dog on the property who is leashed at all times. There are also a few chickens and a rooster in a coop. They do not free range.

Other things to note
I am committed to the original Air Bnb mission of hosting in a space that embodies the values and culture of the region.

As a traveler with Air Bnb, I have been disappointed with the quantity and absurdity of rules some hosts have for their space. You pay a cleaning fee when you rent my space. As such, I do NOT expect you to vacuum, wash your dishes (there is only a bathroom sink! Please DONT wash dishes in the sink or the shower! I can take dirty dishes during your stay if needed), take your trash with you to another location, or strip or wash bedsheets. I also accept pets which means I expect some dog fur and you are allowed to leave your dog alone in the space for reasonable amounts of time as long as they are well behaved. My rules are reasonable and straightforward. Leash your dog in the yard. Practice basic sanitary habits (flush the toilet, throw trash in the trash, let me know about any major spills, etc). Respect the space.
If you are having anything less than a 5 star experience during your stay please reach out and let me know how I can help.
