** Neighborhood **

Experience: Start your morning at a cafe: The Mill, Mojo, Beanbag, Cafe Abir. Eat at some of SF's best restaurants: Nopa, Nopalito, Bar Crudo, Tsunami, Ragazza. Have a drink (email hidden): Madrone, Candy Bar, Wine Kitchen, Page Bar, Mini Bar, Fly Bar, Waziema. See a show at the Independent. Enjoy some of SF's best ice cream at Bi-Rite.

Markets: Bi-Rite, Faletti's, and the Divisadero Farmers market on Sundays.

Attractions: Next to Alamo Square (Painted ladies), Golden Gate Panhandle Park. Centrally located and short walk to Lower Haight, Upper Haight, Hayes Valley, Fillmore, Castro, Pacific Heights.

Public Transport: The MUNI is very extensive and popular in SF. The apartment is directly on two bus lines (21, 24), and a few additional bus lines are within a five minute walk (5, 6, 22, 31, and 71). Some lines run 24 hours (5, 24, N). You can get downtown in 20 minutes. Zipcar is a half block away.

Parking: I always street park my car for free. This is very easy during the day, but much harder at night because of the restaurants and nightlife. Paid overnight parking is a block away.

This apartment is perfect for six adults, i.e. 3 couples, or 2 couples with 2-3 children.

  • The apartment was lovely and very clean. It was exactly like the photos. The neighborhood was lively with nice cafes and a grocery store in the next block. Peining was very helpful throughout my first airbnb experience. When I called her the first day to ask about parking she returned my call immediately and gave several suggestions. There are two bus lines right at the apartment which we used sometimes, so it isn't necessary to have a car if you don't need it for longer trips. We had a great vacation!

  • The apartment was absolutely perfect! Excellent location, everything was clean and well kept, they had absolutely everything covered for any possible need, guest manual, recommendations, enough towels, everything was of high quality.
Our host Peining was always available and kind to any questions we had. I will definitely stay here in the future!!!

    Thank You Peining!!!

  • We couldn't have picked more of a great place for our 4 day stay. The place was immaculate and in a central location to everything we did. The space was super clean. Peining the host could not have been more friendlier. If you are considering booking this place, hesitate no longer and do it! Thanks Peining!

  • Peining's NOPA apartment is excellent! It's extremely open and comfortable, in a great location near Alamo Square Park, walking distance to Corona Heights Park with a great view of the city, and there are several great restaurants and coffee shops within a block of the apartment. Would recommend, would stay again!

  • The apartment is bright and airy in a really great location. The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment away from the street, so it was quiet at night.

Peining was very welcoming and organized. Having a keycode made check in and check out extremely simple.

  • If you are looking for a clean, convenient and spacious place in San Francisco this is it. All worked perfectly well, the key code is a blessing. Slight snag: don't show up with a car, there is no parking space. Peining communicated swiftly and everything went well without any hassle. Recommended!

  • The apartment is perfect in every way. Clean clean clean! Very nicely furnished. Very spacious. Great location. There are lots of restaurants and cafes and the Bi Rite is just across the street. Even though the streetside is busy, the bedrooms are in the back and are very quiet and so comfortable. We absolutely loved the apartment. All the technology in the apartment is neat. Peining is a fabulous hostess and provides everything you need. We could not ask for more. We had a terrific time and Peining's apartment was a gigantic part of our trip being so fabulous.

  • Peining's apartment could not have been better! Spotless, well-appointed, extremely comfortable and quiet, and in a fantastic neighborhood. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to staying here again. The kitchen and the bathtub were particularly lovely!

  • My colleagues and I stayed at Peining's apartment while we were producing an event in Union Square. Her place is so very beautiful and perfectly luxurious, we were beyond thrilled with the experience. I don't think I'll ever have a bathroom with both a rain shower and a claw foot tub again in my life. In addition to the apartment being, as I said, completely perfect, the neighborhood was great, very accommodating and as a bonus the best Ice cream is right across the street. We had simply an amazing time!

  • This really is a beautiful apartment... From the photos it can be a little hard to tell but the unit is very spacious and has a great layout. The beds were more than what I could have asked for, same with the bathrooms and just the overall quality of home. Centrally located, it's close to just about everything. Peining is an excellent host and has great tips for restaurants and local activities. I'd absolutely recommend staying here!!

Hi! I'm from the ever beautiful city of San Francisco. It's a passion of mine to travel to new cities and countries! I also have a wonderful home to share in the city. And I'm an awesome host. My place is always very clean and tidy to begin with, and I always have the cleaners professionally scrub the place before your stay. The #1 reason why I travel: I am fascinated by how others live. Favorite place in the world: Sapa in north Vietnam. Went hiking through seven villages along the banks of the river valley, through rice paddies and bamboo forest, past water buffalo wading, and tiny tots playing in mud. Stayed in straw huts with earthen floors and no electricity. ...I've told this story a million times, but my most memorable travel moment in Sapa was leaving the hut in the middle of the night to use the bathroom (which was part of an outhouse where they had diverted water from the stream). All the stars in the milky way were out and so were the fireflies. The fireflies were the lazy kind that hovered over you like stars in the sky. I could not tell where the earth ended and the heavens began. It was amazing just like that.
