About This Listing
Fitted with a small double bed, drawers and clothing rail, with lots of floor space, available for young professional or short visits to the area.
Our place is located on the edge of Richmond Park, in a very quiet road, close to Sheen woods with easy access into the park. Great for bike rides, walking in nature, and generally enjoying lush green outdoors whilst still being very close to London. The train station, where you can take the tube or overland trains, is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute journey by bus. The bus route is 2 minutes from our front door. If you want to stay local, wander down to the river front and take tea at Petersham Nurseries. As the owner occupier, I will be your host. I work from home so am best suited to guests who are out and about during the day.
I generally only accept bookings from people with a fully completed profile with reviews and references. Please do not request to stay here if you are a smoker. Thank you.
Guests are welcome to make use of the kitchen to prepare their morning and evening meals, and of course the bathroom.
Interaction with Guests
My guest interaction varies depending on my work schedule.
The nature is my favourite part of living in Richmond, along with the quaint town. Compared to much of London, Richmond town is neat, pretty and well organised.
Yes, the bus route into Richmond is a two minute walk from my house. The main train station for tube, overland, and national rail services is a 15 minute walk or a 7 minute bus ride.

My stay at Liz's was pleasant. The distance from Richmond park and the quietness of the neighborhood made my 10 day stay a relaxing and restful one.
We had a wonderful one-week stay at Liz's house. The room was nice and clean, and the house is very accessible from Richmond by walk or even more easy and quick by regular bus service. House is very close to Richmond park and Richmond center which are worth visiting. Liz was very kind to give us many hints on how to spent our spare time in Richmond and London. I would recommend this house! Thank you, Liz!
Thank you, Liz, for your great hospitality while we visited Richmond. Your place was exactly what we needed, a cozy spot to land after our days filled with adventures. Your home is a convenient place to stay as we could walk one block to catch the bus and head anywhere we wanted to go in and around London. We appreciated your advice on places to go and see. It was great to meet you!
The room is good; the bead is really comfortable. I liked the place, it is really quiet in the evening and night, so it ideally fits for light sleepers. And the park near the house is really amazing.
Liz is really nice and friendly, ready to help you in all circumstances. Thank you, Liz :)
I stayed with Liz for 3 nights while attending a course in Richmond. Liz was a great host, easy to get along with and very welcoming. Liz's home provided a comfortable and relaxing place to stay, the interior was clean and quirky and I loved the piano in the front garden!! I will definitely stay with Liz again and recommend her to others.
