A quiet studio in a heritage building in a great location. A friend lives in the same building so perfect for my visit to Nottingham. Convenient, comfortable, and Tim was flexible with check-in which made my arrival easier (had to find parking nearby). A great stay - would definitely stay in Tim's flat again.
Tim's apartment was great and the location is fantastic. Tim was a welcoming and pleasant host. I would certainly recommend this apartment and host.
We had a very comfortable stay, and the apartment was exactly as expected. We didn't actually meet our host as we arrived on a Tuesday evening when he was at work, but he had left the keys in a secure box by the entrance and texted us instructions about how to get in, having first checked that we were happy to do a self check in. The only problem was parking - having arrived by car we then found it a bit of a challenge finding somewhere to leave it overnight as the nearest NCP is very expensive and did not allow overnight parking and the immediate location is strictly controlled for residents permits only. Its the one problem with a central city location! In the end we found a nearby meter which was free from 8pm to 8am and since we needed to leave early it wasn't a problem. The neighbourhood is nice, the apartment was quiet overnight and we left the keys back in the lockbox when we left.
The apartment was quiet, well-equipped and in a great central location surrounded by historic buildings. Tim made it very easy for us to check in and out at times that suited us, and was available to deal with any problems - but there weren't any. This was our second stay with Tim, who we would thoroughly recommend as a host.
Tim's flat was immaculately kept and comfortably slept 3 of us during our stay. The location was very convenient for getting to trains and buses, shops, and restaurants.
wir haben uns sehr wohl in diesem geschmackvollen apartment im tollen lacemarket-viertel gefühlt.
Tim was an excellent host who attended to all problems and was polite, friendly and welcoming.
The apartment was lovely, as described and excellently placed in a lovely district.
Plus points of the apartment were:
Good provision of bedding and towels
Good host – attentive to problems
Excellent location – close to lots of nice shops, cafes etc and to town centre.
Lots of storage space for clothes etc
Great as a base for spending time out and about in Nottingham.

About the Host, Mountain Tim
A man of the outdoors and adventure at heart. Also a keen fitness enthusiast enjoying long distance running, road biking and mountain biking. I'm currently training towards my first endurance ultra marathon race and a triathlon.
My favourite travel destination is the USA, especially Yosemite, closely followed by the Rockies in Canada. Probably my biggest epic adventure has to be my trek to Everest Base Camp - extremely fulfilling, yet demanding and inspirational too.
I love to travel light.... that is with a small rucksack and minimal items to keep me going. Travelling is all about enjoying freedom without the typical daily stuff getting in the way.
Being polite and considerate to others is important to me. Its more typical of me to be the quiet guest, but I also enjoy a chat, debate and discussion about almost anything.
Love to cook (but certainly no expert) - favourite speciality is Thai green curry at the moment - also a sucker for traditional English puddings....
In the last few years I've enjoyed travelling in South America, North America & Canada - In 2014 I've been focussing on developing my business and in 2015 I'm looking forward to exploring new adventures!
