We use this cottage for our family holidays.
We prefer no smoking in the house.
One well behaved pet is welcome with our permission.
There are sheep roaming free in the area.
Dogs need to be kept on a lead if you are near sheep as the farmers do not appreciate sheep being chased.
We had a wonderful stay in achill at this lovely house. Anna had emailed us through all the instructions we needed for the stay which was very helpful. The bed was warm and comfy and there was plenty of space. The views were beautiful and it was a great location for exploring. The house was clean, modern and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Our hosts anna and peter were most welcoming, despite our arrival
by a couple of hours.
They provided supplies over and above what we expected including fruit and lovely soda bread.
The cottage was very cosy and homely with books, dvd's,music available, just a shame we did'nt have a chance to light the peat fire!!
The setting is beautiful and tranquil,Achill is a special place.
Having roots in Achill Island, and happy childhood memories visiting here, my husband and I took the opportunity to get a cottage for family holidays.
We both enjoy the wild beauty, the blue flag beaches, cycling, & walking.
As my grandfather and family settled here and worked in the community we feel very much at home at all times
