The space

our old house (1805) is located in a small village Seix, near the mountains.
the house has three floors, where you'll find the bedrooms and the bathrooms.
A new drawing-room has just been arranged.
We make régulary renovation in our house (afin que) our guests spend good holidays.
Behind the house, there is an enclosed garden with view on a little river.
The house is in one of the main street ( little street!) of the village, there are some shops: butcher's shop, baker's, grocery, art's shop,
on the main square, you can find restaurants, tourism-office, post-office ...
During summer, many activities are possible: excursions, walking on the path way, fishing, water-sports,cycling, gastronomic-tourism, historic-tourism...
During winter, "Guzet-neige" is the nearest station to skiing.

We had a great time in Seix. The house is great, built in 1805 and with lots of character! The location is superb, the village has everything you need and you are right in the heart of the Pyrenees. Beatrice met us on arrival and explained how everything worked. I would happily live there!

Our time in Seix was magical and full of great scenery and adventure. The house of Beatrice was full of character, history and old world charm. The kitchen was a wonderful space to make lovely meals from the local markets and it was a great location to explore the little corners of a very charming mountain town and trails. Wish we had a few more weeks to stay longer! Merci bien from 5 Americans on an epic road trip!

Beatrice was a very welcoming and helpful host with whom we couldn't, unfortunately share a cup of tea. The house is well situated in Seix - a short walk from the local shops(there is a good boulangerie with great bread and croissants), bars and restaurants. There is a small back garden alongside the river which was useful with our 3 small dogs who were also welcomed. We could park outside to unload and, for overnight, not too far away. Although there were only 2 of us the house could easily accommodate 6+. A charming house with many of the original features and character but with 2 modernised bathrooms (a very nice shower in the 2nd floor bathroom) and a recently created lounge area. The 2 (at present) bedrooms are large and airy with comfortable beds and there is a nice 2nd floor balcony to catch the afternoon and evening sun and look across the rooftops towards the mountains. We liked the many original paintings decorating the walls - painted by a relative of Beatrice. The kitchen has a large table but only 5 chairs and has a gas/electric cooker and fridge but little empty cupboard space for personal food items and no freezer. The kitchen was a bit dark as one might expect in such an old town house. It was our least favourite room and really needs modernising if the house is to be let regularly.

Response from Beatrice:

Response from Beatrice:
A bientôt
