    fabulous sandy beach in the shape of a horseshoe, there are two sides to this beach one side has sunbeds, pedalos etc there is also a small bar that sells food and drinks.

    the cave system at Castellana is amazing and well worth a visit. we would recommend doing the full tour so that you see the full cave system.

    During February Putignano host a fabulous carnival which is also held for one day in July. The carnival floats are amazing and not to be missed

  • Polignano A Mare

    This is a lovely little town with many excellent restaurants. There is also a small beach near to the town should you wish to go for a swim.

    We would highly recommend visiting the castel its free entry and often has exhibitions taking place inside. We would suggest getting there early in the morning as they close at 1pm.

    Lecce is full of wonderful baroque architecture and is worth a visit. There are also many excellent cafes and restaurants.

    This is approximately 1hr from our home. It has a lovely harbour and historical centre. There are several restaurants, cafes etc offering a good range of food and drinks

    Matera is the home of the Sassi or cave dwellers, you can wander around the town and visit some of the caves that used to be inhabited until a few years ago.
