Neighborhood highlights

The Homeplace was built in 1920 by my grandparents, Evan Landon and Blair Gentry Plummer. It was there they raised 11 children, one of which was my father, Jim Plummer. He was always proud of where and how he was raised and called his boyhood home "The Homeplace." Every renovation I have completed during the past two years was completed with my dad in mind. I miss you dad and I hope your "Floss" did you proud!
The Homeplace is located on Holston Mtn. in beautiful Shady Valley, TN at the end of a county road. It is a rural area that is perfect, if peace, quiet, and breathtaking views are what you are looking for. It is situated on 138 acres of private property and also borders the Cherokee National Forest. The Appalachian Trial is located approximately 1/2 mile directly behind The Homeplace.
