Enjoy the mountains year-round in this completely remodeled condo right near Canyon Lodge. It doesn't get any closer to skiing than this! Mammoth West 135, known as "Hirsh Haus", is a 2-level, 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, corner-unit condo with direct access from the outside (no shared interior hallway, and its own private front porch and entrance).
Our unit is perched up on a hill with stunning views of the slopes. It is a short walking distance to Canyon Lodge, where you can start your day on the mountain, or catch a gondola down to the Village. For more advanced skiers when ski conditions permit (from the Ski Back Trail), it is accessible as ski in/ski out. For your convenience, there is a lockable gear closet just outside the front door on our private front porch area. We will provide you with a key to use it during your stay. We just ask that all gear (skis, snowboards, bikes, etc.) be stored in this gear closet, or anywhere out on our front porch area (just not inside, please).
The condo looks out on Lincoln Mountain, Mammoth’s Canyon Lodge, and Chairlift 22 (aka “Skier’s Paradise”). There are multiple lakes within 5-10 miles, and Yosemite National Park is less than an hour away. With local activities ranging from world-class skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and trout fishing to mountain biking and summer music/wine/beer festivals, Mammoth West is an excellent location year-round, and a great place to stay when visiting Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding Eastern Sierra region.
Sorry - no pets of any kind, including service animals (we're allergic). No parties allowed.

The upstairs primary bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, closet storage, and a flat-screen smart TV. Its ensuite bathroom features a granite vanity, and a separate shower area with a walk-in shower.

Things To Know
Our unit is located at the very end of a single-lane, dead-end access road, and there is no parking allowed along this access road. Rather this road must be kept clear for emergency vehicles and for snow removal during the winter season. Parking is available, but it is not directly in front of our unit. There is an upper parking lot above the unit near the tennis court (our recommendation), and a lower parking lot below the unit, with outdoor staircases accessing both parking areas. Please view the sitemap in our listing photos for the location of our condo unit in relation to your parking options. Parking spaces are not assigned, but parking is only available in designated Mammoth West parking spots.
If you want, you can drive your vehicle down this single lane access road to the dead-end in order to do a quick loading/unloading in front of our condo unit. However, do so at your own risk, especially during winter months when the road is covered in snow. Since it is a single-lane road, reversing in or out may be challenging, especially if visibility is bad because of snow or nighttime darkness.
Again, no pets of any kind, including service animals. No parties allowed. Thank you.
