A clean, modern studio apartment, convenient to some nearby restaurants (especially Joe's Bar!)
Don't try and find it yourself after picking up the keys at the Roof of Africa Hotel (where Terri works as Manager), rather let the staff drive you there the first time (no charge) as both the driveway and building have no numbers.
It's a bit unusual as the windows have motor driven security shutters and so it looks a bit industrial from the outside if they are closed. Once open, from the inside it is well-lit. The adjacent apartment has a pleasant family living there.
Terri's hotel and fine restaurant (Roof of Africa) is nearby, a five minute walk, as is Joe's Bar, the most famous restaurant/bar in Windhoek, and a must for visitors. An excellent Spanish restaurant is in the same cluster.
It's a quick cab ride or a 15 minute walk up over the hill to the central business district along Independence St.
Terri was very helpful in arranging a very early-morning taxi ride when I left.

I live and work in Windhoek, Namibia. I am a part-time Yoga Instructor. I enjoy travelling to exotic destinations when time permits. My all time favourite book: The Hobbit - must read. Life motto - One Life - live it well. I bought this property to have a base in Europe. I have chosen Berlin because it is vibrant, full of energy, very individual, still embrace a rather hedonistic approach to life considering it is one of the main capital cities of Europe. The sub-culture, the art-scene- poor but sexy, a village feel yet with all the fantastic facilities that a city can offer. Most of all, Berlin changes its face with every moving second, yet, Berlin remains Berlin deep at heart. Where better place than the heart of the former Eastern Part of Berlin, Prenslauerberg? East West fusion manifests itself when you least expect. Mostly subtle but from time to time, as plain as the nose on one's face. The sub-culture is usually only perceivable after a fair stay in Berlin.
