Enjoy your visit to Chapel Hill by staying in one of Chapel Hill's lovely, wooded town home communities. It is conveniently located on the N bus line that runs right up to Franklin St., the University, and the hospitals, and is less than 1.5 miles from plenty of shops, delis, pubs, and the farmers market. Buses are free in Chapel Hill/Carrboro! It's about an $8 cab ride from downtown Chapel Hill/Carrboro.
The town house is 2 bedroom, 1.5 baths, and an additional powder room with sink. One bedroom has cable TV, and the entire house is wifi. Enjoy a user friendly kitchen, living space with cable & netflix, washer/dryer, deck, and plenty of coffee and tea. The half-bath is downstairs and the master bath and bedrooms are upstairs. There is also a deck for outdoor reading under the umbrella or sipping coffee or wine when the weather is pleasant. You can expect clean linens and towels. Community pool and tennis courts are right across the walkway, and there is a community park and lovely trails within walking distance!
You can sleep up to 5 folks here by using the single air mattress or the downstairs sofa. One night reservations will be considered for Sun-Thursday.
The golden rule rules the roost.
No smoking or pets in the house.
Limit guests to the number indicated on the reservations (no parties).
Soft talking/music on outdoor deck after 9 or 10pm (noise carries among the trees, houses, and owls). Generally speaking, be a good neighbor. :-)
She worked hard to make us feel secure about our reservation. Our previous rental through airbnb cancelled on us a week before our arrival. We were traveling from Alaska, so this made us very nervous. When we booked with Vanessa she was easy to communicate with and provided us the information to get into the house the day before we arrived. All in all, she was wonderful!
Vanessa was easy to work with and very flexible. We ended up needing to stay one extra night, and she was very accommodating.
The house was clean and ready for our arrival. The amenities were as described, and our family was much more comfortable than staying in a hotel. The neighborhood was easy to find, and we had no trouble getting into the unit.
We rented the entire unit, but it felt like staying at a friend or relative's house while they're away, which was very nice. Vanessa's house is homey and comfortable with good internet access. Just perfect for our small family!
The reservation was canceled 55 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This is a comfortable, attractive townhouse; it was spotlessly clean and provisioned with a generous supply of everything needed. The WiFi works well, it is on the free bus line into town and campus, near the Carrboro center of town with its restaurants and shops. The owner checks in by e-mail to see if all's well, but that's it. No negatives, only positives about Vanessa's townhouse.
Vanessa explained everything in detail and we found the house to be as she stated. The location was central and easy access to all the necessities. Her home was warm and cozy and very comfortable for the 4 of us. The house was stocked with everything needed from towels to pots and pans and we were able to take walks and enjoy the deck for coffee. Communication with Vanessa was easy and she was only a phone call away. Thank you for making our trip a success and making us feel at home.
