Our estate home is perfectly located with easy access to all major highways. We offer free wifi, phone, and Directv. Join us for the manager's reception between 6-7pm, at our 11 ft wet bar, and free continental breakfast in the morning. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or a game of air hockey in the "man cave". Since we run a small catering company, a drink and food menu will be provided if you choose to dine in, instead of out.

Despite Louisville being sacked in by a major snow storm, Cori welcomed me with a shoveled driveway and sidewalk. Once inside the home I was warmly welcomed by Cori and the star of the home, Greta. The beautiful home was in excellent condition and everything in the room was exactly as listed. The photos in the listing don't do the room justice - the room feels much larger than it appears. The most beautiful-smelling handsoap was in the large private restroom adjacent to the bedroom. I felt as though I was staying with an old friend because of the pleasant conversations I had with Cori and Greta each evening.
A great experience in the home of Cori and Joe. The hospitality was warm and genuine, served up with a cup of coffee and homemade muffins to jump start my morning. I slept great in the comfy bed while watching the Grammies and surfing the web after taking a hot shower in the private bathroom. I can't wait to stay again; probably one of the best AIRbnb experiences one could enjoy!
Thank you so much Cori and Joe and Greta! What a fantastic weekend and enjoyable stay at their fabulous home. Cori is an amazing cook and breakfast was wonderful and especially with the company. I enjoyed thoroughly visiting with the hosts and especially Greta!
The room was wonderful, equipped with flat screen tv and refrigerator and its own air conditioner and the bed was very comfortable. The private bathroom was great too. I would definitely stay there again and feel as if I have made friends I will keep in touch with for a long, long time.
This was my second stay with Cori and it was just as enjoyable as the first! She is the perfect hostess and always makes me feel welcome; I'll continue to stay with her whenever I come to Louisville! Her house is always clean and neat (and beautiful) and she made me feel at home with delicious meals each night and coffee (or breakfast) in the mornings. Always a pleasure!
Ten stars to this wonderful Airbnb host family! This was my first Airbnb stay, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Cori was excellent and very quick with our initial communications and very welcoming and helpful when I arrived. Cori and Joe's house is in a beautiful neighborhood and is very spacious and comfortable. As another reviewer noted, the water pressure in the shower was terrific! But the best part was getting to know Cori, Joe and Greta the dachshund - and their two polite and sweet children. I had a great evening with the family and other guests, talking about everything we could think of that was important and fun to share. They are wonderful hosts and they take great care in everything that makes for a comfortable and fun time.
Cori was an awesome host. She made me feel at home the second she greeted me. Cori was great with accommodating my schedule. I work a 7pm-7am schedule and she was very willing to work with me so that I could sleep during the day. I never heard a peep out of anyone while I slept which was great. Cori's home and neighborhood are both beautiful. There is a lanai at the back of the house and I was able to enjoy my "morning breakfast" out there. I did not get the opportunity to meet Cori's husband Joe but her two children were charming, polite and well behaved. The wonderful homemade jams that she provides are a great touch. I had choices of fruit and chocolate chip scones, yogurt with blueberries hand picked by the family, and homemade granola, a variety of fruit juices, as well as choices of several different coffees and teas on my first "morning" that I woke up. The second day she provided the eggs that I requested. In the room there is a little menu of food that you are able to order for a small fee. Sure beats me rushing to find someplace to get something to eat before going in to work a 12 1/2 hour shift. Cori was also very quick to get back to me with any questions I had with booking and my schedule. If you are in the area I highly recommend a stay with Cori. Great experience. Thanks Cori for a great stay. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower...awesome!
This was my first try with airbnb as I was on a budget for a work conference. I hope all hosts are as wonderful as Cori. Before booking I mentioned that i would be arriving late night and she didn't mind. To top it off my rental car took much longer than expected and Cori waited up for me! She made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. Her children were also gracious hosts (wish I got to meet Joe) and Greta was my companion (I also have two dachshunds). Cori's home and neighborhood are just gorgeous. The room has been redesigned from the photo on the site and it is just as beautiful. Since I needed to leave very early in the morning Cori gave me a breakfast for the road which was fantastic! If you are in the Louisville area I highly recommend a stay here. She met and exceeded all expectations! Therefore I would highly recommend Cori's place to anyone and if I am in Louisville again I will definitely book with Cori and her wonderful family.

Hi, I'm Cori Barimo, and welcome to our profile. My husband, Dr. Joe Barimo, and I moved to Louisville in August 2010 from Palm Beach Gardens, FL. When Joe & I are traveling, we rent out our entire home to groups looking for a great place to stay while in the area. When we are home, Joe & I open our place to travelers through Airbnb. I love to cook and bake, and have a small catering business. Joe is a Director at Spalding University and is building a new Doctorate of Education in Executive Leadership. We have our pup, Greta who is a service dog and works primarily in the nursing homes with demensia and behavioral therapy residents. Joe & I love hosting and meeting wonderful people through this site!
